The hotel is located at a great location with a friendly staff. I barely had to use public transportation as I could easily to my destinations. It only took me 10 min to walk to Palermo Lolli train station to head back to the airport!! The room was clean with a surprisingly modern washroom. No complaint other than it needed to be re-painted (that’s me really nitpicking). I’ll definitely go back when I return to Palermo. :)

Hotel is run down. There are places to walk to nearby but lots of trash in the street and graffiti. Service was good and staff was friendly. I tried to use the gym but was told except for treadmills, it was private and I could not use it.

Once you have negotiated the congested and rubbish festooned streets of Palermo, it's a relief to see the well maintained Ai Cavalieri Hotel close to all the action the city can offer. Everything is correct and as it should be and the air conditioning works a treat. Local (non tourist) restaurants are dotted all around the hotel and the hotel staff couldn't have been more welcoming.
