The staff were so accommodating. Very helpful and polite. Our room was very clean albeit small, however we had the most amazing view of the eiffel tower, the bathroom was lovely and modern , offering shower gel shampoo body lotion, and a fab rain over head shower plus a hand shower, a decent hair dryer too.. breakfast was great offering croissants pastries meats etc .the hotel was a 2 minute walk to the metro station... (from gard de nord to chapelle change to blanche .. moulin rouge theatre you'll see as soon as you leave the metro.. i felt very safe in the area thousands of people about, ill definitely use chat noir again and highly recommend this quaint hotel..thank you for a nice stay....

Great view from the nice sized balcony in the top (8th) floor...The restroom and shower were surprisingly large for an older Parisian hotel.

Could not have hoped for a better stay. Comfortable room with great facilities. I had expected a small, noisy room in Paris but it was spacious and quiet even though in a very handy location. Check in/out was simple and fast. Would definitely stay again

The area this hotel is in is very questionable with a lot of se* and adult shops nearby. It is not a very family friendly area, and I don't recommend staying here with family.

The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The shower was one of the nicest I've seen in a hotel. Staff was friendly, though they were unable over a period of two days to print documents I needed because they were out of ink. The walls are thin and we were awoken multiple nights by people returning to their rooms very late at night. The location is within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. If you'll be staying with kids, you might want to know that many of those shops are sex shops. The Pigalle metro stop is just a few blocks away for easily getting around the city.
