The property itself is located in a good area. Well kept and central location with the metro just down the block. Unfortunately I can only offer 2 stars because the property had an electric outage all day from our arrival time around noon well into the evening hours. It was pitch black in hallways and stairwells. I could not get ready for my evening plans. I did request a refund equivalent to one day stay given this big inconvenience the hotel refunded me 50 dollars.

No water as promised each day. Cleaning wasn’t good and products left behind in room. No hair dryer. No breakfast provided even though we paid for it. No way to call downstairs so we walked down each time and got an attitude for each issue including not even having soap in a hotel room and they over charged us but are giving a hard time about the refund

Disappointed by the staff not cleaning the room properly or giving us waters like promised. Breakfast wasn’t delivered or offered on second day even though we paid. They also charged us twice for our three rooms but don’t seem to be rushing to refund us. Didn’t even fill up the soaps in our rooms. Then when asked I was told they would eventually get to it.

I had a wonderful stay at Rayz. It was my first time to Paris, and the location and walk-ability were fantastic for that. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and I had a marvelous stay. I’d come back again!

Rayz hotel was fantastic; the staff were friendly and helpful; they even got us in a little early. The inside looked beautiful! We booked this hotel to have the view of the Eiffel tower, and wouldn't you know it, we could ACTUALLY see the Eiffel tower. The view from the top was spectacular! There were just a couple things I personally didn't like: the elevator was small, myself being claustrophobic it was kinda hard to be in it. Also, we booked a "joining room" so the adults could sleep in one room and kids in the other. The only thing was, the doors weren't able to lock open so we kept having to use our key cards to get from one room to another. And there was a third door that blocked both the doors before getting to our door (I'm guessing in case we got too loud going in and out), but it made a tight triangle shape when inside all of them and again, claustrophobic.....Other than those personal feelings.... Would definitely recommend Rayz!

Great location and area. Easy access to Eiffel Tower area and a nice coffee shop just down the street. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We felt the room, for the price, was lacking. The bathroom could have been cleaner and the shower door was completely off the rail/not functioning normally. We did like that it was quiet and the light food for breakfast was good. Just croissants and meats and cheese.

Great location and good hotel experience overall, and very nice staff. But the staff seemed under-resourced with one person around at any time trying to do everything. Because it is run with very light staff, it didn't feel extremely secure when we asked to leave our bags before we checked out, for example. The staff was very nice so it was not a personnel problem, but management should provide more support and update the processes so that the experience feels more professional.
