An awesome little resort to stay at in the forest. Neat and tidy, quiet, and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. A year ago we had our wedding at the lodge at creekside and reception in the saloon since it was closed on a Tuesday the resort allowed us to rent the saloon for it . We had them cater the meal. It was so nice. Kyle and the resort staff made it so nice. We came back a year later for our 1 st anniversary. Awesome place.

A very nice retreat.

Property sits in a forest a quarter mile off the main highway. Although very quiet and rustic, it is at least 15 miles into Payson, with no facilities (gas, food, etc.) in between. If arriving at night, watch carefully for the Kohl's Ranch Rd. turnoff as it is not well marked. The lodge and location are beautiful, with comfortable rooms and a very pleasant atmosphere. I would stay here again.
