Our room was broken into, bathroom destroyed along with our personal items we had in the bathroom. Someone left their dirty shirt in our room as well. We went to a concert, cane back around midnight and found our room this way. We immediately called the front desk and was told they couldn’t leave the desk. So I said we would be calling the police, she said fine. After a few minutes there was a knock on our door by two random people who claimed to br hotel staff although no identification and we were afraid to open the door. We ended up letting them in and they didn’t seem upset or phased. We didn’t feel safe in our room and it was a mess, besides we didn’t know what they touched. We asked for another room and they said ok for half price. We said forget it and decided to drive home to Baltimore which took almost two hours. Tried to get a refund from the hotel, spoke yo Sinquetta who told me she needed two days to investigate and she would call ne back. She never did. My friend and I were beyond disappointed. I don’t appreciate how the hotel handled this situation at all. And, I didn’t realize my new Baltimore Orioles pullover was stolen which cost over $50 until I got home. The intruder left his smelly shirt on our room, apparently took a shower and walked out with my Oriole shirt. They should have been able yo find him/her with cameras. I doubt many guests in Philly would be wearing an Oriole shirt. I have called my bank and requested a reversal.

The day was fine. Front desk was fine but your room service never answers the phone. I called for a half an hour straight, letting the phone ring five in 10 minutes at a time no one ever answers it. I went downstairs to order my food to take up to my room and the young lady there was on her phone. FaceTime sat right next to her. It took her about 30 seconds for her to acknowledge me Probably won’t stay there again.

A smallish hotel lobby area with bar and lounge seating. Very clean. Easy check in and out. Great communication. The room decor is sort of 70s contemporary??? Not sure how to describe. Either way, the room was clean and adequate. The bathrooms modern and spacious. Minimal outside noise for a good night sleep. Very convenient location. Ubers everywhere. No waiting!

Was fine, served my needs ok.

At first, when I checked into my room, it was an un-cleaned, not ready room. They gave me a new room. The beds were very comfortable and the room felt spacious. Even though I asked for room service just to tidy up and supply more coffee pods, etc. it took a couple days until I was able to get service.The night manager was far from kind when I asked for service saying that it “isn’t life or death”. Apparently she also works as some type of “nurse” for her other job she said. I had to ask several times before getting housekeeping. They seemed a little short staffed possibly. Had to ask for new room key twice b/c it kept not working. It’s a good location and served my purposes fine. Probably wouldn’t stay there again though.

Overall, a nice hotel and well-situated for walking around downtown. However, in our room, the headboard was filthy and stained. Also, we happened to look at the mattress and it was gross. Although super comfortable, they definitely need new mattresses. The staff were all super-friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a quiet room, make sure to get an inside room. We couldn’t sleep on Saturday night because of all the partying and honking on the (Broad) street below. Also we were near the elevator…

Horrible hotel for the price! Dirty mildewed shower. Dirty walls and headboard! Just nasty! Recess lighting with regular bulb? Rooftop bar advertised but closed for private event like WTH?? Rude valet for $65!!

The location is great and the room was pretty spacious, however...We arrived very late, around 12:30 am, but we had let the hotel know about this late arrival. Right off the bat, there were issues with the room keys, someone had to let us in the room (issues even with master key) and then get the key cards for us. We noticed that the cover was off the HVAC unit, but we were tired and went to bed. Next morning, we told the desk about the maintenance issue. That was fixed, but we kept mentioning that the AC was not working; the room temp would hover in the upper 70s. It was never addressed. At one point, the head of housekeeping stopped by our room and was surprised to see us there. He said the system had the room listed as empty and not to be used, pending maintenance, i.e. the HVAC. So, we never had our issues addressed plus no room service, so we scrounged toilet paper from the housekeeper when we saw her on the floor. To top it off, Cambria has a bot sending text messages, asking if we needed assistance and I responded with our issues, but nothing was addressed. But we had a great time in Philly, so the city won, but the hotel was a thumbs down. The staff were friendly, but somehow, our needs were ignored, so I'm blaming poor management. Also, breakfast is expensive. We have other favorite hotels in Philly, usually visiting 2-4 times per year, but we decided to give this one a try. But we do not recommend it and will be staying elsewhere on future trips.
