Impromptu get-away

The lobby was inviting: very clean, personable staff. The room was also clean (I’ve experienced quite a few top of the line hotels for which this was not the case). The amenities were a tad limited-no blow drier or shower caps in the room (I’m sure they were available upon request). Although the food options at the hotel were rather limited, there was a good variety of options nearby including several grocery stores. The room had a full sized fridge, dish washer, stove top and microwave which was convenient. Internet access was good, but the TV cut out for an hour or 2 because, we were told, of ‘bad weather’. The clerk who answered our inquiry as to the causes of the TV disruption seemed a bit dismissive. Not a big deal but disappointing none-the-less. Overall it was a relaxing stay.

Loud pipe noises, no cots, no fitness center

We've stayed here a handful of times. Previously, cots were available for our youngest daughter. This visit, despite the online description saying cots are still available, there are no cots provided. So know that up front. Also, our room had the craziest noises coming from the pipes (including waking us up in the middle of the night numerous times). So be aware. The hotel rooms have gotten more obvious wear and tear within the last year. The main lobby space is decent. Fitness center not available to guests.

I think your staff at the front desk needs training on speaking with customers and being more proactive. I found them lazy.
