Scottsdale Camelback - cozy, clean & close

Wonderful townhome style hotel at the base of Camelback Mountain. Quiet grounds. Super clean rooms - ours had a bed, kitchenette & big sofa downstairs & a bonus loft with a bed upstairs. Had a throwback 80s resort feel in a GOOD WAY. Pleasant staff & the ability to grab a bite or drink at a little poolside spot until 8pm. We didn't use the pool but there was a fireplace & great seating. Bonus - free parking! Great value for the price & VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION. Lyft to Old Town or the Phoenician cost $5-7 each way. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for folks on a work trip or on a budget wanting a nice cocoon resort feel.

The resort is very nice and has amenities that are good. We found that the "daily refresh" from the cleaning staff was very inconsistent, sometimes they cleaned everything and took an hour, the next time they were inside for 5 mins and didn't replace all the towels. They also came too early sometimes...I'm on vacation, I don't want my room cleaned at 9:30am. I would also ask that the staff spoke more English, I do not speak Spanish and that was often a barrier. Lastly, some of the electrical was a bit out dated in our room. We had several plugs that didn't work especially around the bed. All in all good stay. Thank you!

Stayed here ovenight for golf trip with family. We had 4 in our villa & it size was fine. Didn't experience the property but it looked clean & villa was in good shape. Would definitely recommend if you have multiple people staying together.

There are 2 Camelbacks so make sure which one you want when you book. I goofed, but this one was just fine. Very nice unit, spacious, comfy. Just less luxurious and not a resort. I'd stay again tho.

My son and I LOVED staying at the Camel back resort! The pickle ball courts was steps from our condo. The pool are was very nice with plenty of lounge chairs. The resort's location was perfect for all the hiking we did and close to places to eat. Our condo itself was PERFECT with two bedrooms, two baths and a kitchen. Clean and spacious. The only slight negative would be the road noise out our back enclosed patio, but we managed just fine.

The activities we loved for our daughter, all the arts and crafts. She loved doing them daily. We also loved being able to use the Pickleball court and the tennis court. We love the hot tub. We love the people that stayed there and the activities lady was so incredibly great with children.
