Good place to stay

Very clean, comfortable beds. Train and bus stations are near, walking distance to the tower of Pisa. Could be noisy at night time because of the trains.

Perfectly good budget hotel

The location feels a bit suspect but once inside the hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and the air-con in the room was a great bonus.

Staff was kind and welcoming. There was one thing that I did not expect though. When you leave the hotel, you need to leave your room key with the staff at the front desk. This was not something I had ever had to do elsewhere.

It was ok just to spend the night. Don’t expect a traditional hotel with amenities and to be fair with them, you will get exactly what you paid for. Hotel is outdated but staff is very attentive and friendly. Important to know that there is not bathroom in the room, so you will have to use a shared bathroom in the hallway. Wifi is available only in the common areas.

Very welcoming to this economic hotel especially when arriving after midnight having walked from the airport. We enjoyed the apricot tart and the fresh coffee at breakfast and the luggage store was very handy before our train which left from the nearby station.

You get what you pay for

Wifi only on the lobby. Breakfast consists of prepackaged (aka stale) croissants and muffins with jam. Sheets were clean but blanket had stains, sink was dripping. Good location for a one night stay if you're going to/from the airport or train station, but don't expect much else.

Kind staff, bad place.

The staff at the hotel was really kind and the location is handy. However, we got quite disappointed by a few things: - The room hasn't been cleaned in ages on some surfaces. Dust everywhere. - The bathroom had a bit of mold. - The breakfast, even though is a 2-star hotel, was disappointing, specially comparing to what you normally get at hotels in Italy. -The blinds didn't close completely. - There was no noise-isolation at all.

I think the name ‘moderno’ is misleading..there is nothing modern about this place. They didn’t even check you in by computer! This is a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. The room was ok..definitely in need of updating. The hotel is about 20 mins walk to tower of Pisa..which was fine and also 15-20 walk to airport..which was handy and very simple. The older gentlemen on reception was very nice, friendly and helpful :). Good hotel if you don’t have high expectations.
