The whole place is great along with the quality of bedding and towels. I loved the lounge chair. Great deal for breakfast and definitely recommend for 10E. The only negative is we forgot or were not told it was cash for payment. We managed to just have enough but were lucky. I would just remind people that payment is cash. My only regret is that we didn’t stay 2 night. Thank you

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park. It was about a 5 minute drive to the parking area of the park. The staff was excellent and the rooms were modern and very clean. They helped us with the best way to visit the park and what to do there. Their food was very good, and there were 3 or 4 other restaurants within walking distance. We would highly recommend this Hotel.

Rustic Lodge was lovely! Beautiful accommodations, very clean, wonderful family runs it. They were super helpful and its very close (walkable - if you get off the main road) to the park. Nice breakfast and great having the option to eat in or have a drink on the patio or porch. Highly recommend!!

Cute little family run operation

Very neat, little family-run operation - few issues they are still working out but nothing too major. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Check-in was easy. If mobility is an issue, make sure you ask for rooms on first floor or the annex. Breakfast was very basic/passable and since it was €10 per person, we decided to skip it on the second morning. Owner was kind enough to drop us off at bus stop for bus to Split. We did not eat dinner here, walked to restaurants (Burger Bar and Bistro Antonio) for our two nights here. I should have opted to pay when making the booking. This establishment ONLY accepts CASH in Euros. That was a bit of a surprise at check out. Fortunately, we were able to get them to take USD cash at current exchange rate. Good location for visits to Plitvice Lakes National Park.

Great place to stay

I recommend staying here. The location is close to park. The family running the inn is very friendly and prepares excellent meals. Breakfast is plentiful and reasonably priced.

2 beds one upstairs one downstairs. Check in was efficient and even though we arrived late near the closing time for the restaurant they still prepared a full meal for us. It was very close and convenient to the entrance to the national park. A good place to stay!

Pros - great location, good host and close to Entrance 2 of Plitvice park; ample car parking and good places to shop and eat. Cons - for a 4 star I would have expected a few things - kettle in the room with tea and coffee facilities; card payments as opposed to scurrying for cash.

The property is family-run, and the staff is extremely focused on satisfying guests. We didn't have a car, and they drove us to the national park that we were there to visit.

The location is fabulous and the property is well maintained. We did have trouble connecting with the host by email or phone on the day of our arrival. And we were surprised to learn when we arrived that we had to pay in cash.

Place is a little gem! Easy free parking just outside Check-in was smooth and easy. The person at the desk also gave us the lowdown on how to plan our park visit the next day. We did as he recommended and it was the way to go for sure. Bed was super comfortable, shower great and no issues with the wifi. There is even a electric massage chair if you feel so inclinded. There were dinner options the night we stayed there so I can't speak to that. Breakfast was 10Euro and was ok. It's a 2 min drive on the same street to P2 of the Plitvice park. This convenience and location can't be understated.
