One of the best guest houses I ever stayed. Owners are very helpful and friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is very good! I highly recommend Casa Velha to anyone who is visiting Porto.

Lovely family run guest house.

Pros: 1) The Comfort 2) The Cleanliness 3) The location 4) The kindness of the family running it 5) The Value for money.
Cons: Nothing (honestly!). My hosts were so kind I actually felt guilty that I was paying them so little money for my stay!
Location: It's very convenient because it's less than 10 minutes walk from two Metro stations on a Metro line, which runs right through the centre of Porto.
I had a very enjoyable stay. The family who run it were all very friendly, generous and helpful. I was given a very comfortable bedroom with my own bathroom, and even a leaving present! (One of the owner's own photograph's of Porto). They made me feel very welcome, and it was nice to be able to talk to them about my experiences in Porto during the evening before I left. The location of this guest house is very convenient too because it is close to two Metro stations on the yellow line which runs right through the centre of Porto. The value for money was amazing too. I only paid £61 (68 euros) for my 3 nights stay. I would definitely stay there again if I were to return to Porto!
