We loved our stay at the Old Royal Post. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and went over and above in every way. The suite was beautiful and spacious and exceeded our expectations. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel called “Mon dieu”, which is delicious, and has an open air courtyard patio garden for dining within the hotel. The hotel is very well located (a block away from the Charles Bridge and various main tram lines.) We can’t say enough good things about this place. We recommend staying here and will definitely come back.

First the many, many pluses--location, location, location! This hotel is so close to the attractions (Charles bridge--2 min. walk, Prague castle-10 min.walk, Petrin, Astronomical Clocktower) but on a quiet side street which is LOVELY. The hotel rooms are beautiful, everything feels fresh, new, excellent beds/mattresses to sleep on. Our apartment even had a washing machine. The staff is lovely and helpful. The Mondieu restaurant right next doors is excellent and it feels like part of the hotel which makes for easy food options. Close by is a grocery store too. You have to walk to the Petrin rozhledna when you come--it's a bit of a hike but the view is phenomenal! The single issue is the AC. It works fine but makes pretty bad noise every few minutes, making it a bit unenjoyable to relax. We were told this only affects three apartments so if you are booking a single room, it would not be an issue. In sum, we would 100% stay again, just not in #26 and the other two apartments where this is an issue.

The rooms are suites with incredible design features. We had the Franz Kafka suite. The neighborhood is the best in all of Prague. The staff were amazingly helpful. Their restaurant has 5 star dishes with reasonable prices. We've been to Prague many times, and this hotel is the best of the best! We won't stay anywhere else from now.

Great for families, great room & amazing location

We had a mix-up about booking airport transport, so it didn't get arranged as I thought, which wasn't good, given that we landed near midnight. Regardless, getting an Uber at the airport is easy enough and quite safe. This is an amazing hotel. We had a great room on the third floor, great location near the main tourist spot to easily see the river and cross the bridge into the old town. The room has a small kitchen. If you intend to cook often/big meals and have more than two people in there at a time, then it would feel tight, but for us, it was more than good enough. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but I am sure, like most places in Prague, the food quality and standard are generally very good and good value for money (in comparison to London, where we live). As we have kids, we were offered a PlayStation 5 to set up and keep them entertained.

Old Royal Post was the perfect property for my family. The location is absolutely amazing; it’s close to everything but tucked away enough to be quiet and calm. Our suite was very clean and modern and included everything we needed. The staff prioritized customer service and were very helpful throughout all points of our stay. Excellent hotel!
Terrace vibe was culturally immersive and peaceful.

What a great place to stay! Couldn’t fault it at all! We had room 32 which had a bedroom and front room. Front room had a bed and sofa bed plus table and gallery kitchen. Excellent decor, clean, great condition. They had a PS5 for the boys to use. Excellent location for Charles Bridge. Restaurant below was fantastic - excellent breakfast! Would come back again!

Room with no privacy

This was our third year staying at The Old Royal Post Hotel, and we’ve always loved it. Unfortunately, our last visit in July wasn’t up to the standard we’ve come to expect. The AC in our room had issues, and there was very loud noise coming from across the wall during the early morning hours. We mentioned it to the gentleman at the front desk, but he seemed dismissive and uninterested in addressing our concerns. Additionally, our room was on the ground floor facing the restaurant patio, making it impossible to open the blinds for any natural light or privacy, as guests could see directly inside. Honestly, this room shouldn’t be offered for rental in its current setup. As much as we’ve enjoyed this hotel in the past, we may consider a different option next year.

The kidness of the staff it’s above and behind everything that you can imagine!!! You can tell locales are happy people and they enjoy having you there!!! The property it’s so clean and charming!!! Ideal to stay and celébrate with your spouse, Family or friends! You will find everything what you need and I’m sure if you need something extra the staff will go out of their way to provide it to you and your family! The food of the restaurant at the hotel it’s amazing!!! And once again the service is 5 stars!

Spectacular decor in the heart of Prague

This hotel was a work of art! We were stunned by the beautiful and fancy decor in our “Venus” room. This hotel was luxurious, yet very affordable. Beautiful amenities with a kitchen, 1 1:3 bathrooms, family & dining area, & kitchen. It was located in the perfect spot near the Charles Bridge to walk to old Town, the river, or the castle. It was near chopping and restaurants. In all my traveling around the world, I have never seated any that was decorated so cool and beautifully. We loved our stay and the city!
