Still good but was previously great

I’ve stayed at the Emblem Hotel Prague before and returned this time to a warm welcome with a handwritten note and chocolates – a lovely touch that I really appreciated. The staff are friendly and the location is absolutely the hotel’s best feature, right in the heart of the city. The spa and massage are a nice addition, though even with the massage discount the price feels very premium. Compared to my last stay about a year ago, the hotel seems a little tired – or perhaps I was unlucky with my room. On arrival, the room had a faint sweaty smell, and the shower dripped through the night. The hairdryer didn’t work either; I requested a replacement and reception noted it down, but unfortunately it was never delivered. On the positive side, the bar remains a very nice spot to unwind. Overall, I would consider returning, but at £350 a night I felt the value didn’t quite match the price this time around.

The Emblem is located in an unparallel location. Literally 2 streets from the Old Town square, but located on a quiet street. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The rooms are a bit small, but you get used to it, and you are not really in the room most of the time anyways. Would definitely recommend.

Needs better people and service

The rooms are very small. I asked for a different room upon check-in but they said the hotel was full, even though rooms were available online. My room then had a leak at night and they had to move us in the middle of the night, but wouldn’t provide an upgrade or breakfast or anything except a very bad attitude from the guy at the front desk. Light was coming past the curtains all night from the bright street lights outside. Street noise. Steam and Sauna were not open during my entire visit. This hotel was a big let down.

Lovely Hotel

This hotel is in an excellent location, within 1 minute of Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock. Our room was clean and very comfortable and the staff were both very professional and helpful, I would also like to congratulate the hotel on a fabulous breakfast freshly prepared in the kitchen. We experienced two issues with our room: the room keys on arrival were not working, and the toilet in our room, 410, failed to flush the following morning during our first night in the hotel. The staff immediately resolved both problems to our satisfaction, we can't thank them enough for their professionalism. I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Fabulous Hotel

Fantastic hotel. Fair price and incredibly nice and comfortable - literally Ritz Carlton quality room, beds, bathroom, amenities, etc. super comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. 45 second walk from main square in old city. Less than 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge. PERFECT location. My first time in Prague but I would always stay in this hotel when I am here.
