We recently stayed at this resort and had a mixed experience. The location is beautiful, and both the beach and pool areas are absolutely amazing—perfect for relaxing and especially great for kids. However, the room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The staff didn’t clean thoroughly, and that was a definite downside to our stay. The food was average and quite repetitive, with not much variety from day to day. Despite some of these issues, I would still recommend this place for families with children. The outdoor spaces make up for a lot, and it’s a fun, safe environment for kids to enjoy.

Myself and family were bitten by bed bugs. They said they would test and email us a report of the findings. They never responded. We also say roaches in the buffet’s grilling area. We will not be returning.

I like the entertainment activities and events for the family throughout the day. I also enjoyed the food at the reservation restaurants only. Unfortunately, the food at the buffet was not what I expected, neither the service at the buffet restaurant.

This was our 6th stay at a Bahia property. Unfortunately for us we had a multitude of issues. Needless to say it was unpleasant. Upon arrival, I decided to upgrade our room. Our room’s air conditioner only worked one day during our trip. The room “flooded” about 4am on the third night. Apparently, the A/C unit expelled lots of water that dripped down the wall and ceiling. I had to put towels down all over the floor, as I couldn’t call maintenance in the middle of the night. Didn’t want to wake my child. I think Bahia has received enough of my money.
