Property is beautiful. Resort is very large, but we figured out our way around. Food: The food was just not good. We were a large group and everyone had the same complaint. The meats were usually very undercooked. And while I understand that they cook for many people we've been to other Punta Cana resorts and food has never been an issue. Staff is hit or miss, some staff are very friendly and are helpful, other staff will do everything in their power not to make eye contact. Rooms were okay nothing special. Drinks are not good they use inexpensive alcohol. Luckily we had friends coming in on different days and had them pick up alcohol at the duty free in the airport. We enjoyed our time, but this resort is a one and done for us. There's too many other resorts that are amazing and cost the same, go elsewhere.

Our room was outdated for sure, small tv and the one in the main room was broken. Now your in the carribean so a tv isn’t a deal breaker but it’s nice to have a nice tv being that they are so cheap now adays. Door lock was broken, and they did have some black mold in the shower. We aren’t picky but we do travel a lot so we are use to 5 stars hotels and this one fell a little short of that. 3 out of 5. Food was good not great.

The property itself was spacious and variety on things to do - the staff at the Casino Bar and Sports were good and attentive and took good care of our group. The food and the other hand was sub par - steak over cook and most of the time the food was not hot and fresh - the coffee was subpar awesome especially for it being the Dominican Republic. The maintenance of the electric components like outlets and switches was a hit and miss and several did function correctly or sometimes did not work at all. Some of the staff was also not courtesy or attentive some would not even return a good morning. My expectations were set high as I saw it was considered a 5 Star property and I was disappointed but we made the best of it as we were celebrating a birthday with a group of 25.

Besides the staff been very careless in the restaurants. It was impossible to use the restaurants options because they didn’t have any reservations available for the three days we went. That’s on one side. On the other hand, I have a very serious complaint. They have inside the premises in the sublevel of the main building agencies where you can buy tours and transfers. I bought the transfer out to the airport, they wanted cash! Since I saw they have office and inside the hotel I paid 40$ to this company BD experian but the car never showed off that day there was nobody in the office and he answer the phone without any explanation I ended up taking a taxi. And lost 40$ the hotel shouldn’t have this type of people in their premises.
