The restaurants are rarely open and when they are they do not have the food on the menu. The rooms are outdated and falling apart. The sales people are the worst. During the day on the beach there are abput 20 people walking around trying to sell you stuff.

My recent stay at Iberostar was wonderful. I was celebrating my 40th birthday and originally booked Iberostar Waves Dominicana. When I checked in we were upgraded to Iberostar Waves Punta Cana. Both resorts are next to each other. All the staff I encountered were pleasant and friendly. We received great service at all the restaurants especially at their buffet, Higuey. The hotel grounds are beautiful, each day there are activities and entertainment shows at night. I would highly recommend either resort. From beginning to end it was a memorable and great trip.

I really enjoyed this resort. The staff was very friendly. The club had great music. The grounds were immaculate. The french restaurant was outstanding as well as the breakfast buffet. Had allot of issues with the key card to the room. The beach has ALLOT of seaweed. I didn't go into the ocean once. Overall I would still return.

Wonderful place to stay! Would definitely go back. Beach was full of seaweed (that they worked on cleaning up daily) but still have 2 nice size pools with lots of activities for adults and kids thru out the day. The staff was AMAZING and friendly. Lots of options for food

As the property is what we expected as it looked like the pictures.despite their best efforts the food was terrible. Most of it wasn’t even edible. The fruits were the only decent thing on the menu. The restaurant offer somewhat edible food but it won’t satisfy you especially if you havnt eaten all day. Be sure to have that uber eats app ready if you plan to stay here. And the shampoo wasn’t good either. Feels like nothing was being washed

Hotel was clean and most of the staff were friendly Some were very pushy about attending a 90 minute presentation to sell you a membership. Beach was horrible as there was seaweed everywhere. Pools were clean but overcrowded. Food was okay..Hard Rock Cafe was absolutely disgusting, my husband actually got sick. Overall would recommend for the price.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, they keep the rooms clean, the water in one of the pools looks dirty and the buffet doesn't have many options, they never serve mangu for breakfast, which for me is basic for breakfast, and almost never fried chicken, which is what children eat the most.

Loved our stay & the property. Only downfall to our trip was the seaweed on the beach. Apparently August is when mass amounts of seaweed wash up to shore, so we didn't enjoy the ocean water as I had imagined. This is obviously not the resorts fault, just mother nature & a lack of knowledge on my part. The resort did their best to clean it up every morning running tractors to discard as much as they could. Not all resorts along the beach were doing this & we were very grateful for their efforts! Definitely looking forward to returning at a different time of year when the seaweed isn't taking over the shoreline. The pool, the views, the staff & the excursions were all amazing!
