DO NOT STAY AT ROYALTON BÁVARO – HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE, NEARLY DIED! If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would! My group of eight people stayed at Royalton Bávaro in Punta Cana, and every single one of us got severely sick within 24 hours of arriving. We spent five miserable days suffering from severe diarrhea and food poisoning—this was not just a mild case of stomach upset, but a full-blown health crisis. The food is terrible—the buffet and steakhouse were the only decent options, but everything else was absolutely disgusting. Clearly, there is something very wrong with the food handling at this resort. However, the worst part of my experience was that I went into a coma on the beach due to what I suspect was severe food poisoning or another health hazard at this resort. I had to receive CPR and an adrenaline injection before being rushed to the hospital. When I confronted the hotel management about this horrifying incident and demanded a full refund, the so-called “Guest Services Manager” Adolfo did everything in his power to lie, stall, and manipulate us instead of offering real assistance. He refused to let me speak to his superior, claiming he was “too busy” at all times. It was clear they were just trying to cover up their negligence. To make things even worse, the hotel denied my request for a copy of the emergency report regarding my medical treatment and refused to provide security footage from the beach where the incident happened

You get what you pay for for an all inclusive at this price, staff could have been friendlier and more timely. Room could have been cleaner. Our Expedia concierge, Angela was absolutely amazing. She was able to get us into multiple restaurants and was had quick responses to any question we had. She was a big part of what make the trip great.

The room was great and the property itself had good amenities- lazy river, mini golf, lots of restaurants, spa, multiple pools, and a nice beach. Our concierge was also helpful with our dinner reservations and the rest of the staff was friendly. But the place was not well run. Check in lines were long, pool service and housekeeping was unpredictable. We waited over forty minutes for our lunch order to come and service at some of the other restaurants was slow or just not great. Food was okay but often cold at the buffets- the Brazilian place and Zen (it is hibachi not teppanyaki) were the best of the bunch. Mini-golf only had four clubs and we had to wait two days to get a reservation. Forget about the Flowrider- that was booked too. It was nearly impossible to find seating around the pool bc people started claiming chairs with their towels at 7am and the staff did not come around to remove them throughout the day. Not quite a luxury hotel.

Hi, I like the beach was beautiful, I like I could choose my room in advance, I like most of the service from staff and the food was good. I did not like to have to reserve at midnight a spot for a restaurant for dinner. I disliked it a lot. I also did not like when the concierge told us he will contact us via what’s app but when I said I did not es t to have the discussion for 2 hours he said he will write it and we have not been contacted to help with our reservation during our full trip.
