The hotel was horrible. We walked inside the bedroom as soon as we got into the bathroom there were roaches all over the floor, very nasty and dirty.

The shower tub combination needs to be resurfaced and new faucets. The paint is peeling in the tub and rusty at the faucet. The bathroom door sticks needs repair. Also the hot water runs out very fast. Also, I have killed a couple of roaches on the walls so bring bug spray. The area is well lit at night and somewhat quiet. It is a lot of night parking lot traffic that goes on. There is a soft spot on the floor that makes me nervous so I do not walk on that side of the bed. I think the overcharge for the hotel considering the look of it, but I know it's a business. It is not the best and some of the people that is here seems odd, but at least you are not out in the streets. They do serve breakfast, I hadn't been but it is advertised. I think the prices could be lowered a little bit more for what you get or offer discounts to people that stay a few more nights.

Very misleading. The place looks nothing like the pictures online. The place smelled like marijuana.There was no water pressure. The breakfast was pathetic. The toaster didn't work, and the only cereal was Cinnamon Toast Crunch-yuck! The orange juice was terrible -tasted like Hi-Cooler. The staff were friendly and the beds were comfortable. Thank God we only needed a 2-night stay.

We enjoyed the continental breakfast this morning and then left for lunch. We returned back and enjoyed several hours of television and movies before taking a comfortable nap in the king size bed, before having to go to work at noon for my husband and 4pm for myself. It was a quiet, peaceful day. Thank you!!

Upon arriving at the hotel, my party was immediately concerned we were at the wrong location. The exterior photos from Google taken at night were able to conceal the slapdash black paint job on the outside of the building. Walking into the lobby, we noticed aggressive fragrances that seemed to be trying to conceal the natural scent of the building. Opening the door to the room, the unwelcoming appearance of the room halted our initial desire to settle in. As my party investigated the bathroom and bedding, noting the sad state of the room, I stood back opting to avoid touching the bed or setting my things down. Deciding to look at the wall instead of the room, I quickly noticed exposed cracks in the plaster that seemed like someone had recently attempted to cover them up with wallpaper. We quickly decided that it would be in the best interest of our health to drive 3+ hours home late at night instead of staying at this hotel. I have no clue why a national brand like Best Western would associate with a dilapidated establishment like the SureStay Plus at Durham Medical Center. We are requesting a refund.!!!
