We stayed for a week at the DoubleTree Resort for a destination wedding, and everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful. The staff were courteous, attentive, and genuinely made us feel special throughout. Check-in was smooth and welcoming thanks to Anjali, who explained everything in detail and set the tone for a great stay. We stayed in the Arabia Suite, which was super spacious, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. Khaled, the manager, personally shared his number and encouraged us to reach out anytime and he was always available and helpful whenever we needed anything. Every morning, Pabrita and Nova made #breakfast such a pleasure. Pabrita took great care of us, and Nova at the egg station remembered our preferences and served everything with a smile. Waseem from valet/concierge went above and beyond to help with our car and luggage always friendly and professional. The food at Marjan restaurant was excellent, and even though the hotel was very busy, service was quick and efficient. Having Salt Burger right across the hotel was a nice convenience for quick bites. The only small downside was the ongoing roadwork in the area, which made getting in and out to the city and Al Hamra Mall a little tricky but that’s temporary and beyond the hotel’s control. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and we left with beautiful memories. Special praise to all the staff, especially Anjali and Waseem, who truly went the extra mile. We will definitely be coming back!

Room was not ready upon check in. Gave us another room that was dirty. Everything about the dining area was dirty as well as pools and common areas. Almost always was served with glasses that had stains

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the front desk team. They made me feel welcomed and attended to all my needs promptly. Throughout my stay, I had the pleasure of interacting with several remarkable staff members, including Manohar Kumar, Asif Ahmed, Ganesh Nagarkar and Kavintha whose attentive service and culinary expertise made dining morning, lunch and dinner a delight. I had special requests during my visit which were a lemon and ginger shot every morning and a strawberry milkshake for my daughter Florence. After day one of my request, I never had to ask again as the mentioned members of the team would have them ready on arrival to the restaurant. Truly outstanding attention to detail with regards ensuring customer satisfaction. It's evident that the staff is not only skilled but also passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. Their dedication to ensuring that every guest has a memorable stay is truly commendable.

The property was beautiful. It was very clean and safe. They had multiple pools including a mini water park area, it was close to the beach so there were options for multiple water actions including jet skiing, camping and others. The food was great, there were a lot to choose from. The overall stay was great. No complaints.

Positives: super clean, a plenty of good quality food, attentive staff. The spa was great. Negatives: website claims that the hotel is offering a free shuttle within 30 km radius. The only place where the shuttle goes twice a day, is a nearby mall. Also, the hotel is very far from the airport and the city, no uber or taxi will come to pick you up, so for all activities, you are dependent on the travel agency within the hotel. You can rent a car with a driver for the whole day, for example. Lastly, the hotel serves mainly families with kids. There is loud music and screaming kids all day. So if you’re looking for something quiet and relaxing, this is not it.
