Was very happy with my little apartment right in the centre of Reykjavik! There was a small confusion when I arrived due to change of ownership I think, but the guy on the phone reception sorted everything out. The studio was quirky & fun, and was overlooking Laugavegur. Easy access with a code number for either the restaurant attached, or a separate door for the studios. Decently equipped kitchen unit, with pretty much all you'd need for a few days staying in the city. So close to downtown and the main shopping street, that the location was ideal for walking to anything in Reykjavik. Would happily stay again.

Great location

The hotel is quite central in its location. Parking was available on the street (~€20 for 24 hours). Get coffee at Reykjavik Roasters and a croissant at the Braud & Co if you have a chance.

Quirky but great concept hotel

From the unique check-in process to the make and form of the room, this was a top experience! It is a great concept for a hotel that reduces staff but doesn't take away the service. As anything new and different it has some minor hitches - such as the toiletries could be better - but nothing is perfect! I would highly recommend this hotel and if I ever go back to Iceland, I will certainly not look elsewhere for accommodation. Besides, the location is FANTASTIC!

Great unique hotel!

We stayed at OK hotel for 3 nights in October. The hotel is in great location on the main shopping street with plenty of restaurants and bars and coffee shops. The studio was spacious and very nicely and uniquely decorated. There is no reception but the system they have in place works well. We didn't manage to eat at the restaurant but it looked lovely and it was always popular. Good happy hour for drinks which we took advantage of. There is a tourist information a 2 minute walk away where we booked all our tours. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we'll stay there again when we come back to Iceland. Thank you!

Quirky and cool

Really refreshing to stay in a lovely property in the centre of town with a little bit of originality. Funky decorations, plenty of space and just a great vibe all round. The Korean restaurant downstairs is also fantastic - a must try!

Gute Lage, nette Einrichtung

Ganz gute Studios. Jedoch war das Check-in sehr mühsam. Man musste sich per bereitgestelltem Telefon via einer bestimmten Rufnummer anmelden. Jedoch funktioniert das Telefon nicht, was seitens der Betreiber wissentlich in Kauf genommen wird. Sie sagten dass sie wissen dass das Telefon nicht funktioniere. Ich finde eine solche sehr unprofessionell. Es gab in den drei Tagen die wir dort verbrachten mehrere Personen die der Verzweiflung nahe waren, weil man weder einchecken noch die Betreiber kontaktieren konnte. Leider ist dies so dann gleich der erste Eindruck. Die Zimmer sind an sich sehr schön und aufgeräumt. Gelegentlich fehlen Sachen wie ein Hacken um das Badetuch im Bad aufzuhängen.

Zentrales Hotel an der Hauptflaniermeile gelegen

Der Check-In findet über ein Telefon im Eingangsbereich statt, Personal ist ausser das Reinigungspersonal nicht vorhanden. Das WIFI funktionierte sehr schlecht bis gar nicht. Das Zimmer war nett eingerichtet aber nicht richtig sauber. Der Geruch vom Restaurant im Erdgeschoss war teilweise im ganzen Hotel und im Zimmer zu riechen. Vormittags ging zweimal der Rauchmelder im Zimmer an ohne dass Rauch vorhanden war. Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen.
