We stayed in a deluxe two bedroom apartment at Luagavegur 85. The apartment had a spacious open plan living/dining and kitchen area, with hob, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher etc and plenty of dishes and glasses. The location was great, in the main shopping street and near to restaurants, bars and Hlemmur bus station one block away. It had two balconies with views to Hallgrimskirkja one side and to the sea at the other. The area was quiet at night and the bedrooms were comfortable. There was a lift which is good as our apartment was on the fourth floor. Would have no hesitation in returning if visiting the area again.

Our studio apartment was perfect. It was spotlessly clean, with a good coffee perculator, a super comfortable bed and great service. Only downside was it could be a little noisy as it was on the street or if others were getting up early for a tour etc, but thats no fault of the property management. Id 100% recommend this place, reasonable price and smack bang in the middle of Reykjavik. We also had a free car park space, which was really useful.

Fantastic accommodation, location and staff

Pros: Everything
Cons: There was a vent in the bathroom ceiling, which when it hailed, the hail stones, dropped on my neck when at the sink. It didn't bother us though.
Location: Location was very good, not far from the 'Hallgrímskirkja' church (iconic landmark) one way and the other way in centre of town so around 10 mins walk
We emailed a request for an early check in and with a higher floor and the staff duly met with our wishes. We received an email to say that it was not guaranteed, but they managed it, which was fantastic. Very helpful, gave us maps, tips on places to go and coupons to use for food and drink. The room was very large and it was 'our home in Iceland'. All you could want whilst on holiday. Very clean and modern. Nice touches with soap, shampoo and conditioner in good quality containers on the wall. Jacuzzi bath. Good heating. Lovely comfy bed and pillows. Ove, fridge, freezer, microwave and sink. Also plates, cups, glasses, wine corkscrew, cooking utensils. Balcony, although didn't use as it was snowing in May!! There was s supermarket within a couple of minutes walk away, bus stop no 7 around 5 mins walk and the actual bus terminal was only around 14mins walk. There were many bars and especially good happy hour bars at the bottom of the street, not far from bus stop 7.

great central apartment

Amazing place, it does not look great on the outside but the inside is amazing. Lots of thought ha been put into your comfort, including providing a blanket for when you sit on the sofa. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The apartment is very central, close to a supermarket, the Main Street in Reykjavik and a pick up point, for excursions. Would definitely recommend.

The accommodation was on great location in the city. It was clean and though it was only 1 room, there was plenty of space. The shower and toilet worked well. And the equipment was good for two persons. I really recommend this.
