Clean, Modern and perfectly placed.

Pros: The rooms are very comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated, the breakfasts give a good choice and the kitchen and reception staff friendly.
Cons: A limited breakfast could be provided for those leaving early in the morning.
Location: Very close to the main shopping streets and the local bus station.
The hotel is less than a five minute walk to "down town" Reykjavik and both the communal areas and bedrooms are modern, well equipped and comfortable and the staff are helpful and friendly. Comparing it to other hotels I have stayed in, my only comments would be that there is no breakfast available for those leaving early in the morning (some other hotels provide an early buffet) but in general the staff most staff were more helpful and friendly than other hotels I have stayed in.

Storm hotel was a great choice for our trip Iceland! Staff was friendly and the hotel clean, breakfast buffet was amazing, location was central but at the same quiet... cannot recommend it enough.

Comfortable hotel within walking distance of town

Hotel is a little bit away from the town but only a 10 minute walk to end of the main shopping street. Opposite the larger Fosshotel, and the pick up bus stop for tours (bus stop 12) is right outside the hotel. Nice breakfast is included (cold selection only). Room is quiet and comfortable, but has no fridge or safe. Wifi is free and reliable. I would stay here again.

Nice modern hotel in good location

The hotel was walkable to all of the main town. The rooms were very modern, clean and fresh. The breakfast was great-lots of choice! The parking was free. Would recommend this to anyone.

Nice and modern hotel close to restaurants

15-20 min walk to the centre but have restaurants nearby, modern rooms, good shower, good wifi, ok breakfast. The only bad thing is that the room was very small.

4 day break

Lovely hotel great value for money in a good location. Staff were always at hand to help and give advice. We were leaving for an early flight, before breakfast and we were offered hot drinks before we left the hotel. Nice touch, nothing was to much trouble for them.

Perfect - recommended

Ideal new hotel, good price and free parking. Happy hour 4-7 for half price draft beer each day. Spotless and faultless.

Great value, free parking, opposite Voss Hotel which has a good bar, happy hour in Storm 4-7, just excellent all round.
