You cannot beat the price and location of this property. We stayed here for 8 days and absolutely no complaints. It’s close to everything, including bus stop #9 which is a popular stop for all the tours.

This hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of everything & very close to the bus stop for all the tours. The food was fabulous, the hotel is very clean (despite it being in the middle of renovations),, the staff is extremely pleasant and helpful, and the rooms were minimalistic with plenty of storage space and very comfortable bedding. we would definitely stay here again.

First time at this hotel and we would certainly return if we came back to Reykjavik. Greeted with a smile and friendliness by Violetta on reception when we arrived to say we had been lucky to be upgraded which was a nice touch. The hotel has a cool bar / restaurant, a gym / sauna and unusually a barber shop! Rooms are clean and modern and bathroom contains great upmarket toiletries. Breakfast was great for both hot and cold options. Location is perfect on Laugavegor walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. We found street parking easy enough and there is also an underground car park 300m away on the same street. As mentioned before all staff from reception to bar / restaurant and housekeeping were happy and friendly when encountered.

Lovely hotel in the middle of the main shopping areas Close to great restaurants and bars and the bus pick up for tours and transfers only a few minutes walk away. Hotel really lovely and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Visiting for partners 50th and they left a surprise gift for us in the room. Will definitely return if I visit Reykjavik again.

I didn’t get a phone plan for my stay in Iceland. The property provided a phone that could be used for making calls as well as internet access during my stay. The breakfast buffet had a great selection and i had no issues with finding something I could eat with my long list of food allergies. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

A great place to stay in Reykjavik. Ideally located for bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. The room was ideal and very comfortable with friendly and helpful staff.

We reserved this property several months ago through Expedia. When we attempted to check in ( a few minutes early), we were told that they did not have room because they overbooked. We explained to them that we were staying at the hotel with other family members and booked at the exact same time. They were very apologetic and set us up in an even nicer hotel in a suite, with comped breakfast, and paid for a taxi. While this ended up being fine and we appreciated how much they tried to accommodate us, the lack of communication beforehand was completely unacceptable.

We spent 4 nights here and absolutely loved the hotel. It is very convenient to the main shopping areas and restaurants. Also only a 3 minute walked to the pickup site for most tours. Highly recommend this hotel
