Gorgeous hotel 10-10

One of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at. Close to everything , restaurants, shops, etc. has a gorgeous terrace that overlooks all of Rome.

Excellent hotel, absolutely gorgeous room and facilities. The staff are lovely and the food is excellent. Unfortunately the rooms are not very sound proof, even though they’re beautiful, so if you’re a light sleeper it can affect you. Otherwise, 5 stars! We’ll be back next time in Roma.

This property was absolutely beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice! Room 202 had a view of the courtyard that was stunning! Every night I would open the window for the night breeze (I like cold winter nights) to hear the softly playing music from below & I absolutely loved every minute of it! The hotel was very clean & well kept and my room was beautiful. So easy to walk to many different woderful restaurants!

Enjoyed this historic hotel, although we were not located in the main building but had to go down an ally way and push a button, Showing our key alerting the front desk before entrance was obtained . There was a way to get to the reception inside but it was not straightforward.

This is not a 4 star hotel. I paid a premium for this hotel after seeing the pictures and the ratings. If you book a standard room, you are sent to another building that looks like the maids quarter. You have to ring a doorbell and dangle your key for someone to let you in ( NOT secure) If you choose to access it from the hotel lobby ( which they try to not recommend), you are taken to a gloomy staircase where you need to go down 3 flights of stairs and then take an elevator to go even lower. I felt like i was going to a donjon. I selected this hotel over another one ( which was way nicer and less expensive) thinking i would get a true Italian experience and i was utterly disappointed. I complained enough to get the same low class room in the main building but this site should NOT promote it as a 4 star Read all the comments.

We loved staying at Donna Camilla. The staff was very accommodating and made us feel very welcomed. They went above and beyond for us such as calling us cabs, keeping our luggage after we checked out, and helping us extend our stay. We enjoyed our stay and if we find ourselves in Rome again we would stay at Donna Camilla.

The hotel was beautiful. The service and food in the bar/restaurant fantastic. Generally the staff were very friendly and very nice. However, I had booked a superior room and I do not think I was given a superior room. The room was very small and I had especially chosen a larger room because we had a very early flight and it would have been nice to relax in a good sized room. This was not possible

What an amazing unique building this hotel is, as it was an old monastery but has been tastefully modernised and is beautiful. The garden and roof terrace are just some of the bonus features. The staff were extremely courteous and went out their way to be helpful. Breakfast buffet was delicious with so much choice, catering to various diets. The area, although outside the main tourist areas of Rome, but with in easy walking distance, is lovely with some amazing restaurants nearby. Definitely recommend.
