The hotel is well located close to the Termini station, breakfast was great with lots of options and restaurant/bar had good selection of food and drinks. On the downside, the SPA only works from 2pm to 7pm which is terrible if you are spending time in the city. We wanted to enjoy the SPA but simply couldn't book it. Moreover, we had 3 people staying in the room and for 2 days the staff forgot to put enough towells for us. We also ran out of shampoo one day. The bed for the 3rd person was also small and uncomfortable (I think it is only suitable for kids).

Nice lobby, rooftop bar and breakfast accommodations. Great proximity to the train station. Room was clean but every wall had scuff marks and hadn't been painted in what appeared to be twenty or so years. No air conditioning at the end of April. Had to try to sleep with the windows open. Not very relaxing.

Terrible first visit to Rome

The lady (Amina) I think was her name was not very kind. She was rude the entire time we dealt with her. We had an issue with a double booking, and we did the pre-work to reduce the number of days at the hotel, but apparently it was not communicated with the hotel. We were given an old room with beatup furniture and walls, the bed was a cardboard, the pillows were cardboard, we didn’t have hot water, it was room temperature at best, the room was cold and managed by front desk who claimed they turned up heat…but didn’t… just a terrible experience for first visit to Rome. The restaurant maitre’d was a jewel and breakfast was top tier on a positive note.

No ac super hot at night had to call every night for them to put the ac and the last 2 nights they didn’t put it at all. The check chaos no power and the only time we done there the power went on and off continuously . They put in the 6 floor worts floor to be due the bat they have upstairs noise moving furniture music. we have bites all over our bodies don’t know if is a mosquito or bed bugs And last the bathroom window if you open it the other room and the people at the roof top bar can see you in 3D. Overall disaster

Generally it was a good staying for us. The location is really good, the staff are ok, and there are some other good things about this place such as good breakfast, big rooms, complimentary tea and coffee, etc. However, the facility is really old and needs some serious attention. The Internet signal is weak in some areas, beds are noisy, washrooms are old, and rooms do not look clean (even if they are actually clean)...

Definately not a hotel i woyld recommwnd to other travellers. The walls are paper thin and so you hear everything happening in the halls and other rooms. The stench of the bathroom permeates through the room making it unbearble to breath. No hot water to shower in the mornings, breakfast mediocre and the roof top terrace is underwhelming unlike the pictures on the site. This hotel was the low light of my travela to Rome.

The Golden Tulip in Rome has the most helpful, polite and efficient staff. I wanted for nothing. I loved the tables and chairs outside the hotel which allowed me to sit outside at my own property rather than having to be in a restaurant in order to sit home. A great place to chill after long days of walking.
