My wife and I stayed here for three nights in September. The staff were wonderful and helped us arrange transport from the airport & a few other things here and there. Daily breakfast was a nice treat with good variety, setting us up for long days of sightseeing. The hotel grounds & location were both fantastic, a short walk to the Trastevere neighbourhood. We felt much more comfortable coming back to this area after spending time in the more hectic / busy areas of Rome. The amazing variety plants around the hotel were a wonderful touch and added a lot of charm. The beds are firm, but comfortable and large showers / bathrooms facilities. We did have one or two small issues during our stay, but the hotel staff were able to help us out and resolve them quickly.

This hotel was exceptional - from the beautiful layout of the property with all its greenery, to the huge room with the comfiest bed, the impressive breakfast spread to the friendly staff. Even the resident tortoise was charming. Trastevere is a really lovely area to stay in and this hotel is close enough to the action but also remarkably quiet and private. So close to the river and walkable to central Rome. Will definitely be back!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in Italy. From the moment I arrived, the team gave me such a warm welcome that immediately made me feel at home. The location is absolutely perfect, and the atmosphere is so peaceful that even my baby slept soundly through the night. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and attentive. A very special thank you to Ramona — she is truly outstanding and made our stay even more memorable. We loved this place so much! The staff was so delightful and helpful. The room is super spacious and well cooled. We got a free bottle of prosecco which we enjoyed at the bar with some yummy snacks and a very sweet bartender. The breakfast was incredible! So much better than anything in the states. Highly, highly recommend this place! I look forward to staying here again.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Check-in was smooth and quick, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary early check-in. The location is perfect – close to great restaurants, shops, and attractions, yet quiet enough to relax after a long day. While the property was still under renovations so we couldn’t see the finished product, our room was fantastic and staff was super friendly. Breakfast was perfect as well. Only negative is there aren’t any amenities within the immediate area for a quick bite but within 10 minutes so not bad - location was perfect for quick access to airport and almost no traffic so easy for taxi pick up with dedicated motor court.

Gorgeous hotel tucked away in Trastevere, stayed here with my boyfriend for a few nights away and was wonderful! The staff are so kind and helpful, breakfast is delicious and the rooms were lovely. The rooftop was great for a pre-dinner drink, deffo recommend staying here

This hotel felt very much more like a 3* experience. For a 4* experience, which this hotel lacked, we would have expected: better breakfast, a bar that stays open past 8pm, and some enhanced facilities such as a bath in the room, spa or a restaurant. We found the breakfast uncomfortable, as there is always a waiter stood by the food watching you eat, almost like a security guard. Waiting staff should be highly attentive but discreet. The coffee was very poor and the omelette my wife ordered was a mess on her plate and was more like scrambled egg with a few cold vegetables thrown in. Overall, this is a good hotel and we did enjoy our stay. However, the price/ the star rating needs to be adjusted so your experience is more in-line with expectations.

Horti 14 Borgo Trastevere was sublime in all the ways. Staff all fluent in English and super friendly, attentive and efficient. The grounds felt like a botany oasis, green and luscious. The breakfasts were outstanding. The rooms very clean, modern and equipped. Location peaceful yet well placed. I will return without a doubt whenever returning to the Roma area, this is a jewel of a destination and stay.
