We loved this location. Hotel is historic which allows for a lack of needed ugrades that seem prudent. It's hard to balance this issure but they really could do some upgrades without taking away from the nostagia of the property. Loved the rooftop bar but not a fan of the Hookah Bar being there. Did not fit the vibe of the property.

Incredible rooms (Orazio suite triple and Basilica view double)! Very clean and incredible view of the Basilica. Wonderful and helpful staff. Terrace alone makes this worth it.

The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The location to/from the Rome Termini was great for walking without need for additional transportation needs. Mecenate location was close to shops, restaurants, including a jump onto the subway down the street on the same block was beneficial. The Roof restaurant and bar area was a great space to enjoy.
