We had a triple room and the set up was great. The location is in a modest neighborhood and there is a lack of dining options near by. It is great for public transportation. The hotel was well appointed and nice inside. I would stay here again.

Unfriendly staff

Check-in took over ten minutes. It seemed like the hotel had a very messy reservation system — they had to ask me what kind of room I booked, and even mixed up my booking with my family’s, though we booked separately. A female manager with glasses then showed up, looking stern and unfriendly, and subtly implied that it was our fault for not clearly stating our bookings. The hotel itself is nice — the room was clean and comfortable — but the service attitude, especially from someone in a managerial position, was disappointing. Parking is also expensive. I won’t return, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

Very good access to Metro and Ahoy centre only a simple 20mins walk. Fabulous bakers round the corner & great views on the 12th floor where my room was located (lifts nice & fast too!!)

North Sea Jazz and Girl with Pearl Earring

Came for the North Sea Jazz Festival. Took train and metro from Amsterdam. The metro was incredibly convenient to the location of the hotel. The same metro line took us to The Hague. Again, so happy with the convenience and ease. We had an incredible stay.

This hotel is OK. I booked a suite but it was a very lacklustre suite. The hand soap dispenser didn't work and only got changed on the penultimate day which was very annoying as I had to keep going into the shower to use the shower gel instead. Again, not what I would expect from a suite. I left the aircon on in the room but whenever they came to service the room they would turn it off and sometimes open the windows which meant the room was always hot when I returned to it. The reason there isn't a breakfast option at the hotel is because the restaurant Mio Papa is the only source of food so you have to pay separately for breakfast €17 Euros every day. Breakfast was ok. The dinner menu was good and the food was tasty. Good job as I was at a conference from 9am-9pm for 4 days so ended eating at the hotel 5 nights in a row!

Steep steps into the building, I ended up using the ramp. Check-in needed ID which I think could have been done via the app in advance. Enjoyed the room although some corridor noise, a second door from the hall or a better room door would have been good. If you are disturbed very much depends on the other guests. Some parts of the hotel looked unfinished but I think this might have been the 'look'. Bed comfortable enough. Restaurant downstairs was good service but average food. Not much in the immediate area but close to the Metro.
