They upgraded us to a larger suite even though we were last minute to inform them it was our wedding night. We were very satisfied with our stay, their building held the classic historical feel. Everything was excellent...100% recommended! The front desk staff in the morning, especially the lady with the white hair, was fantastic (10/10), so pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic, and the room was comfortable and clean. When we returned from our outings, everything was perfectly tidy and smelled wonderful. We'll see you soon! The hotel is a historic 1909 former high rise with original elements incorporated into the function of the halls and rooms. Expect as much when you stay and you will be overjoyed with the experience. The original hardwood floors are gorgeous and the elevated “modern” 60’s flair of the lighting and furnishings is distinguished. The bed is super comfy, also!

Good clean room. Very comfortable beds. Steps from the Alamo, 1-2 blocks to Riverwalk, so super convenient for anything in that area. TV in room a little spotty. Called front desk & they said turn it off & back on sometimes helps. It seemed to fix for the most part. Decent price. Nothing not to like here at all.

We had huge windows but we were facing another old building. The food wasn’t good. The eggs were not fresh. The fruit from the fruit cup I got was bad. I had that bad taste in my mouth for a while. The description of the hotel said it had a restaurant but we were never told where the restaurant was so we just went out to find restaurants nearby.
