Not a great anniversary getaway

The lobby, bar and restaurant were really nice. The room is old and had a musty smell. The bathroom door was wedged up against the toilet and had to be pushed to open. The balcony curtain rod came apart when opening. The anniversary strawberry’s were hot and the anniversary drinks with chips were not good. The bed is so uncomfortable and the room was way too small to enjoy.

People were great, very friendly with the exception of the gift shop attendent. The waitresses at the restaurant was super attentive and friendly. The room was OK, bed was comfortable Room was very dark, and the bathroom was not the greatest.

Extremely dated/old rooms! Terrible. Even the exterior door into the room describes dated condition. Rooms do not reflect the main building with reception area, restaurant, lounge, outdoors are all updated and beautiful. Personnel are friendly and accommodating.

Musty moldy smell

Do not recommend, the rooms smell so bad, it smelled musty, you can tell it’s been like that for years. That bad smell is so strong that could not sleep, the reason why only stayed one night. was not refunded for the rest of the stay.

The resort, overall, was fabulous. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated but they are roomy and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff is top notch! And, the pools are clean and beautiful as well as the grounds. The golf course on site was also fun and in good shape except the greens had some issues that they were trying to overcome. All in all... I would stay here again!

The resort is beautiful, you will see the most beautiful views all around you. In the other hand, the rooms need a lot of work. They are very outdated. We found a couple insects inside our room. The pool and bar area are wonderful. The restaurant is great as well. This place is amazing they just need to work on their rooms to make them look more updated.

Poor Service - Lack of Accountability

The service was slow and dismissive in addressing a menu discrepancy. After initially disputing the issue, the waiter confirmed the mistake after a long delay. When my wife expressed frustration, the manager intervened but, instead of honoring my request to have the food boxed, took it away entirely. Despite this, we were still charged half the price because I had eaten nearly half while waiting for a resolution. This response only added to the frustration. Better customer service and fairer resolution practices are needed. The service and communication were disappointing throughout our stay. After reporting the restaurant issue and our frustration to the front desk the next morning, we were told we would receive a response, but no follow-up ever came. Additionally, I reported mold in the bathroom with photo evidence and informed them we would be away for a few hours, hoping for a resolution. Again, there was no response. Ultimately, we checked out on Sunday morning feeling completely disregarded and disappointed. Improved communication and accountability are necessary.

We loved the pool area, plenty of seating and lounge chairs, there’s a poolside bar with drinks and food. The room was clean, beds were nice. The room was in desperate need of paint and wallpaper in the bathroom, both were peeling and chipping. There are no elevators in the buildings. We went to the clubhouse for lunch, never even saw wait staff, sat there for 15 minutes and left. The only other real negative was the noise from the room above us. It went on until almost 2am, no answer from the front desk when I tried to call. Other than that, it’s a nice property, the front desk person (John) was very helpful and friendly.

Great resort, they catered really well to family with small children. They had bouncy houses set up with karaoke night on the patio, pool area was fun with the waterslide. Definitely coming back over here. Highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway.

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean very friendly staff. We came for a quiet getaway with golf and had a blast with some of the activities. Will put this on the list for future stays. Definitely recommend.
