This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms and an amazing staff. However, it sits on the main road into the historic area so it can be loud. This was increased due to the AC being turned off for winter and the heat being set a bit high which required us to lead the balcony door open. Also, the TV in the room next door sounded like it was in our room... not much sound proofing. Overall, the experience was wonderful and provide an excellent base to explore this wonderful micro-country.

Grand Hotel San Marino is just outside the main wall of the city what make is possible to be able to park but you are still a few steps from the main entrance. Beautiful view from the room and restaurant associated with the hotel is one of the best ones in town.

Dramatic location

Perched at the summit of a mountain in the historical center of the Republic of San Marino this hotel is excellent, they parked my car, fast, check-in, elegant marble lobby, and nice room.
