Attending 49er/Seachickens game

This was the first time I was checking into this hotel in Seattle. My first impression was that it smelled like cigarette smoke. I saw many individuals smoke right outside of the hotel and the smoke must've came into the building but the smell was very profound and didn't smell good. I checked in online, which was easy but I also then had to download an app if I wanted a digital key. That wasn't a lot of trouble to do but it still was more than what I felt like doing. I ended up getting a digital key for my room. Safety is a concern for me and I liked that you had to use the key in order to activate the elevator to get to my room. Once I was at my floor, I noticed the hallway carpeting to be very very dirty and outdated. The room doors were also pretty old and outdated. My room wasn't bad, view was horrible (parking garage) but that's not the fault of the hotel. It was a headache to try to turn on the TV everyday because everything is online services that I don't use at home. They were quick to send someone to assist me though and I appreciated that. They charge $40 a night for cleaning service of your room, not worth the charge for me. They do however clean up your garbage cans and replenish coffee/tea when you ask. Close location to lightrail, Pikes Place & Monorail. The toilet is interesting because it flushes itself after you use it and even when you don't use it. The closet space was pratically non existant tho. My clothes were cramped. Walking distance to stadium.

Great spot to stay for Mariners and 'Hawks games.

Very convenient location to walk to stadiums and restaurants. Easy vallet parking and super easy access to freeway on the way out of town.

The hotel is definitely dated but quaint and seems historic in that way. The rooms are close together but that didn’t seem to make any difference. Overall i would recommend it.

The location was great! We went to the adjoining cafe multiple times during the stay, and the restaurant as well. The area is busy, there were sirens multiple times a night, unfortunately. It must be by a fire station. The Seattle Library is across the street, which was a bonus! The hotel iteself was fine. Nothing fancy. It definitely shows signs of wear. You can tell it was very nice at one time. The room size was fine for the two of us. Bathroom is tiny. There was minimal hanging space in the closet. The AC was hit and miss. The mattress was a bit loose from the wall and I could see dirt/dust bunnies behind the bed. Would I stay here again? Probably for the convenience of location. And the coffee at the cafe was really good. But you don't have to stay there to go to the cafe.

Rooms need alot of work

Our AC unit was on full blast from 3pm-midnight when we got back to the room, it was barely cool in there. We all woke up with red cheeks, my face was hot to the touch checking out. We had the worst sleep, AC unit was a POS. I sent multiple messages on hotels.com prior to arriving, they went un-answered. You cant email them because the email address on their website bounces back. Brutal - have stayed here 4 times now, we wil not be returning. The sink was barely hanging on to the wall in the bathroom. The rooms are extremely run down.

Air conditioner thermostat didn’t work properly so even when I shut it off, the room was still freezing the first night. Next day without it on, it was stuffy & smelled like years of old cigarette smoke. Very small room & bathroom but comfortable bed. Window faced the street so it was noisy. Contactless check in so if I actually checked in with a human at the front desk, I would’ve asked the room location as I always do when I travel. For a weekend trip, it was an okay room and does have a good cafe & pub with easy access.

Do not stay here. Rooms are tinier than listed. Bathroom is very poor quality with a shower like door as the main bathroom door. Rooms are noisy. Could hear neighbor on TikTok through the walls. Road traffic nearby was loud. Only had 1 staff member at front desk. Said to call for valet to bring car up but nobody would ever answer the phone. Cafe attached is very expensive for a poor quality meal. Definitley spend the extra money on a different hotel.
