Third stay here, and the spa, rooms and breakfast were wonderful as usual. Less wonderful was the member of staff who checked us in, who was stressed and rude and neglected to tell us how to get to our rooms, was snarky when we came back to ask for directions, and only gave us one keycard which turned out not work when we finally reached our room.

Comfy cozy hotel for a early risers

The hotel is very cozy, excellent breakfast, comfy beds. There was a few things we hope will improve the next time we stay: we were informed it was not possible to book the spa after the quite early checkout time of 10am. The bedside tables in our room hadn’t been cleaned and had sticky stains on them. The walls in the bathroom also needed some attention. The rooms were beautiful and big. We had a nice stay and would recommend the hotel.

On the exterior, The Comwell looked excellent, with a supposed state of the art spa facilities, high quality restaurant and a friendly smile on arrival by the staff. In reality, what I was met with was a lot of hidden costs for facilities that barely worked. I paid for access to the spa facilities, however, saunas were not functional, there was little direction in terms of what was available for me to use and what I couldn't. Staff were inattentive. I was seemingly ignored by the front of house restaurant staff as I waited to be seated, with several different members of staff walking straight past me without acknowledgement. I gave up and went to the supermarket instead. The next day I visited the restaurant again and wasn't impressed by the limited menu. There were no vegetarian options, little diversity and the food wasn't that great. When reporting spa facilities that were not working, members of staff did nothing to rectify the issue or inform me of whether it was being seen to or not. My room had an insect infestation which made it very difficult to relax and settle down. The bedsheets were not fitted to the bed very well, and I found myself tangled in the middle of the night. The bathroom was poor, with a sink that doesn't plug in, a shower that sprays all over the floor and a toilet that had a particularly bad smell throughout my week. I left the Comwell with a bad taste in my mouth. I felt disappointed and let down by what could have been a very lovely stay.

Ok hotel men så sandelig plads til forbedring med hensyn til ventilation og styring af ventilation på værelset. Ingen av hvilket er mærkeligt når hotelkæden påberåber sig at være blandt landets bedste. Bokade sviten och den var fin i planlösningen! Liten köksdel men som helt saknade utrustning såsom tallrikar och bestick så fick ringa och be dem komma med det. Det fanns matplats och soffgrupp. Receptionisten upplevdes inte välkomnande utan informerade minimalt. Frukosten var jättegod och vi upplevde det som bra råvaror. Spa använde vi inte. Hade både badkar och dusch på rummet men badkaret lyckades vi inte fylla då proppen inte höll tätt. Renlighet hade kunnat vara mycket bättre. Smutsiga bord, smutsiga skåpluckor, toaletten hade kunnat vara renare och det låg ballonger och godis kvar från föregående gäst på balkongen. Och hårstrån på soffan. Nu använde vi detta som en natt vi löste in. Hade vi betalat så hade det inte varit värt priset och vi hade framfört klagomål direkt. Det fanns shuffleboard nere i allmänna ytan som vi uppskattade.
