Great hotel, very well located, especially to the metro (90 seconds walk) - the only thing that let us (and overheard others), the hot food at the buffet breakfast was consistently not hot, they need to work on that. Other breakfast items were perfect, fruits, pastries etc.

The room was okay, spacious and fancy But the pillow cases are teared up, found some hair in the towels, and the light and curtains control is not the best, the room didn’t had the perfect sound proof windows or doors as i can hear people in the corridor talking, also i could hear the sirens from the streets

Room was amazing, very comfortable and the view was incredible. Only a few minor cons. The laundry service is very expensive, the building is on centralized air and in winter won’t allow you to go below 23*C so the room got quite warm, and the bellhops did not offer any help with the luggage on check in (only appearing after a suitcase got caught in the revolving door and I had to press the emergency stop).

We had a wonderful stay at Sofia Balkan. The hotel is conveniently located next to Serdika metro station. Most location attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and modern. The shower temperature could be a bit hotter and it’s strange there’s no hair dryer in the room. Would recommend this hotel.

Shockingly bad service in every aspect. Room not cleaned, asked five times for a wine list at the restaurant, impossible to get a coffee refill at breakfast. They just weren’t interested in their guests.
