This property is so beautiful! It is like you are stepping back in time. We stayed here for our son's prom and the backdrop for photos was amazing! It was easy to get in and out with the valet parking and we were able to walk to prom and back! It was a great night!

The Davenport is a wonderful hotel...so beautiful and usually known for its excellent service. However, we were shocked when we tried to check in less than two hours before check in time and were told that our room was ready, but we would need to pay a $25 fee to check in early. We have never encountered this at any hotel we've ever stayed in. We opted to wait and checked in at 4 p.m. It seems that if the room is ready, they should allow you to check in early!

The last night we were there we ate ate the hotel restaurant. The girl was rude that treated us asking if we made reservations. It wasn’t like they were busy. We did try to make reservations but never got through. The service was not good. I got the $45 three course for the restaurant week. The gnocchi was horrible. The chocolate cake that came with it was dry and like a frozen cake you would get from the grocery store. My husband asked for mixed vegetables and got 8 pieces of asparagus. Not what I call mixed vegetables. When we checked out in the morning they asked if I wanted them to email the receipt. I told them that would be fine. I have never gotten the receipt. I called today and they said they didn’t have the receipt because I made the reservation through Expedia. Why would they be able to email or print me a receipt upon checkout and now say they don’t have one and I have to go through Expedia?

We always enjoy staying at the Davenport. Unfortunately there was a lot of road work being done around its location this time. My only complaint is the cost for parking is getting out of hand!

We had a wonderful stay at the Davenport around Christmas time. Property was decorated beautifully for the holidays and the staff was friendly and attentive. Great location in Spokane, walkable to everything. Room was clean and comfortable.
