Beautiful hotel and a great location. The staff were exceptional.Especially Nightshift reception staff when I had an issue. Plenty of beds buy the pool. No need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve with a towel. Will definitely be returning.

Terrible service from the staff during and after stay (except for the odd few like the cleaners and Miguel the bar man on the up level) and dinner was limited, terrible and far from what they advertise. Would avoid staying here but if you do, do not go half board. Pools okay, UP level is really good but fairly expensive. Rooms nice and modern.

The location is excellent with good access to other amenities in the area.There are numerous bars cafes locally. The hotel has its own bar which which shows musical entertainment and tribute acts which are shown in the local bars. The hotel restaurant is very good with a good variety of meals however it can get very crowded at peak times. Many of the guests are elderly but the staff are excellent and very patient with some. Disabled facilities are excellent at the hotel as they are in the resort. I will definitely return there.

We stayed here last year and it was very good. This year wasn't as great. The bedsheets were poor quality, some of the staff were quite rude and you couldn't get wifi in the bedrooms, only in the lobby area. I don't think we'll be back.

I recently stayed at Hotel Vulcano, and unfortunately my experience did not meet the standards I expect from a four-star hotel. During my stay, I encountered several cockroaches in my room. When I informed reception, the initial solution offered was simply to provide spray. I had to insist on changing rooms myself, and this happened late in the evening without any clear apology or reassurance. This handling of the situation was disappointing. I also sent an email afterwards explaining my concerns, but I have not received any response. The lack of follow-up and communication is concerning. There was noticeable noise in the room that affected my comfort. In addition, I asked at reception if a bathrobe was available, but was told it was not — something I would normally expect in a hotel of this category. The hotel advertises yoga and Pilates as part of its wellness offering, yet these classes are only held twice per week in a small indoor room. Given the climate and setting, I would have expected a more suitable or outdoor space. This does not reflect the image presented in the marketing. Furthermore, the rooftop terrace is shown on Hotels.com as a facility, but access is not included in the standard room price, which feels misleading. One positive aspect was that I was allowed early check-in at around 11:30 am, which I appreciated. Overall, the guest handling and the gap between marketing and reality were disappointing.

This hotel is lovely but they clearly have a problem with a cockroach infestation which they acknowledged that they were already aware of but are not dealing with properly or seriously enough in my opinion. My own room on the ground floor and my friends room on the 7th floor which was a premium room both had cockroaches and they were running around the swimming pool area too. I think this hotel needs an urgent health and safety inspection and should have its Expedia recommended staus removed until a inspection is passed.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction regarding the conditions of the room I am staying in. Unfortunately, I have noticed the presence of cockroaches in the room, which is completely unacceptable. I recently stayed at Spring Hotel Vulcano for 5 nights and would like to share my experience. First, the positives: The breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The staff are incredibly friendly and service-minded, always ready to assist with a smile. The pool area is also very pleasant, providing a nice spot to relax and unwind. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. One major downside is the extra charge for using the safe in the room. This feels like an unnecessary way to extract more money from guests, as a room safe should be a standard amenity. Additionally, the rooms are poorly insulated, leading to significant noise issues. I could hear my neighbors coughing during the night, and the noise from the reception area was quite disruptive. Lastly, while the gym is adequate, it appears to be neglected. Several machines have visible rust, indicating a lack of proper maintenance. Overall, while there are some great aspects to Spring Hotel Vulcano, there are also areas that need attention to enhance the guest experience.

Blast from the past

We stayed at this hotel 25 years ago, and chose it this time because of the location to the beach and airport, and it was reasonably priced. On arrival the room we booked wasnt available, we moved the next day, both rooms were not overly clean, and the floor in our second room wasnt cleaned all week, my feet were dirty going into the shower. The bar is nice and the entertainment is ok. The food served in the restaurant if you are on a normal diet, and eat most things is adequate. However, I am gluten free, and for the first four days none of the food as labelled which made life a little difficult. Chicken was cooked on the same grill as pork, this should not happen, not just because I am highly allergic, but on religious grounds too. I asked about gluten free bread and cereal at breakfast the first morning and was told they didnt have anything. I went to the supermarket and brought my own. It should have been out each morning as I wasnt the only one, I dont like to keep asking for it every morning, I was told one morning I could have a baguette, but notice others were given bread, but they were Spanish!!! The hotel is very nice, and staff are very friendly, but it will probably be another 25 years before I revisit this hotel.
