Our first night was comfortable enough and with the breakfast it was a fine value. The staff were friendly and attentive. The second night several days later wasn’t as good. The bed was uncomfortable and the air conditioner was very loud. The room used to be a boardroom and was converted into a guest room but the renovation was poorly done, the toilet was not properly attached to the floor, and the room cleanliness was not acceptable. There are definitely some areas that need attention.

We were 3 families at front desk registering when it came to my turn the gentleman who was availed one of his friends came in and haded him a ryobi impact the spoke a different language . And the attendant took his coat off and left . I don’t believe it had anything to do with work at the hotel found it a bit rude .

The hallways looked nice but that became deceiving after discovering how the room was dirty and smelly. The bathroom smelled terrible and when the door was left open you could smell the dirty bathroom from the bed. There was also dog/cat hair at the bottom of the bed. I was too tired to complain but also slept terribly because I could smell the bathroom stink in my sleep if my boyfriend left it open from going in the night time and forgetting. if all rooms aren’t being cleaned properly, guarantee the quality of this inn will go down. Cleaners need to do better.

Renovation Lacks Attention to Important Details

While the room appears to be recently renovated there were areas that were neglected. The bathroom fan grill had dirt/dust from what appeared to be years of build up, mold rim around sink drain and corner of tub surround. The stair edge/nosing in the stairway was peeling off creating a trip hazard while walking up the stairs. Very few plug ins for anyone with a laptop or phones as well.

A good stay, nice brekky but I would suggest Days Inn place an explanation page in the room on how to use the TV. Who knew you had to go to Xbox to get your TV channels?? Not all of us are of this new tech savvy generation! No plastic cups in the washroom!

Stop over on way to New Brunswick

We stopped for 1 night on our way to New Brunswick. The hotel was quite good, there was a bar and restaurant right in the lobby which was very convenient. The good was quite good and reasonably priced. Service was good as well. Hotel could use a little polish.

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend Our stay was underwhelming from the start. Check-in took longer than expected, and we didn’t receive the room we had originally booked. The restaurant experience was equally poor — the food quality was disappointing and portions were insufficient. To make things worse, there was no coffee available before 10:00 AM, and only one staff member was trying to handle the entire restaurant. The indoor restaurant had a cracked glass window, and the outdoor seating area was closed because it wasn’t ready for guests, which was quite frustrating. The washrooms were extremely small, and we found mold in the bathroom — a serious hygiene concern. Overall, the hotel did not meet basic expectations, and I would not recommend it.

The breakfast was seriously depleted by the time We went down at 9am. The fresh fruit was not replenished. The eggs and potatoes (tater tots) were less than appetizing. It was better the second day when we went down just after 7am and things were still in supply. Need another staff person at breakfast to replenish supplies.
