The lobby is a homeless shelter people so high that they can’t get up 3 stairs to make it to the free coffee. Not safe at all. The hotel desk reprogrammed my key just by me walking up and saying a room number. Didn’t check Id or even confirm a name. I’ll never go back again I’ll sleep in my car before I visit this place again. The mall it’s attached to is almost completely vacant and seems to just be a warming centre for the crisis situation downtown Sudbury is in.

The Manager and staff on duty are friendly and easy to talk to. They answer all questions and knowledgeable. They actually offered in the room 4 free large chunk cookies and 2 waters, no charge to room. The hallways are quiet and sleeping is very quiet. The hotel has a nice large heated pool. The only issue is the beds were hard and very firm, not great for sleeping... Driving around Sudbury is easy as most places are on 2 major streets and all within a 10 minute drive from Hotel etc... If they could get new beds, would be the best hotel....

There were mice in our room. My son woke up yesterday morning with his eye all swollen almost shut. telling us he felt something crawling on him all night. And while we were packing our stuff we saw our little friend that identified itself as a mouse. And ran right under the bed were my son was sleeping. I took a trip to the hospital to treat his eye, and the doctor confirmed me that it was the dirtiness and the mice running on his face during his sleep that cause it. The front desk apologized but refused to give me a credit for this incident. Such an awful experience, we are never going back there

Great stay!

We all enjoyed our stay. The location is great, lots to do! Loved the easy access to the mall and movies without even having to go out into the cold. The only complaints i would have is that there was no towels at the pool as we forgot to pack some, and when we asked at the desk they were completely out! It was not nice running up to the 4th floor freezing with no towels. Also when entering our room it smelt like sweat or something; just an awful smell and whem we left we all had the smell on us. That wasnt pleasent but other then that it was a great stay and i will be booking again in the near future. Ill make sure to pack towels this time!

The door to our room was very difficult to close and lock. I did report this and they said they would have maintenance look at it. The free breakfast is very nice. Unfortunately the scrambled eggs were cold and I’m sure had been sitting there since early morning and the same with home fries. Coffee was luke warm. We did enter the restaurant later in the morning, but the food should still be hot and edible.
