Waited in line for over an hour to check in, book room for 3 people only to find if I actually wanted somewhere for the 3rd person to sleep I would need to pay them more money for an extra bed to be brought up - not told this at time of booking. No onsite parking, was told I would need to leave my car at local shopping centre and walk 15 minutes back to our accommodation.

The hotel was under renovation, however the main entrance was blocked and we had to walk to the back of the hotel to enter. That day was raining and we were all wet going to the back entrance, not to mention the hassle that we had to carry our luggages. What should have been done is to arrange a small passage for clients to enter. Also when we returned after dinner one night around 8pm, the front door was locked and no response despite knocking on the door. There was no staff seen at the counter. Again we had to walk to the back of the hotel to enter exposing to the cold wind.

Its location makes it the best and most convenient stop over for my family when we travel to Sydney. It is currently changing from the Marriott to the Crown and do lots of work taking place for the new branding. This did not impact our stay. We will be back.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good. Our three kids had free breakfast which was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel and I would choose to stay here again on our next holiday.

Just awful from start, Do not go there if you have a disability, they have no idea, very sparse rooms, everything limited, definitely a poor man’s stay, had to be moved from room with a bath shower walked in with my white cane, no way could I get into a bath, shower totally unreachable so high up on wall, no USB ports, only a few Tea bags no Coffee bags, broken TV and bed way to high to climb into. Down to reception to totally disinterested receptionist who was either Deaf or problem understanding English, manager not on until tomorrow. The new room was laughable shower itself was more accessible but water all over the floor and no slip mats, rails for fixed far apart and didn’t help when trying to get out of the water. Nowhere to hang towels after showering. And bed again unable to climb into, a few more tea bags but missing the lounge and chair (only 1) which were in previous room, despite 2 people in room. Again no USB ports than heavens for taking my own chargers etc! Not a top class hotel by any mean.

great hotel

I like this place and have stayed here many many times and will again when I return early next year. The only thing that sux about this place is that their breakfast buffet is awful and over priced for what you get, fortunately there's McDonald's across the road so definitely ditch the hotel breakfast and go to Macca's instead.
