The room was not only spacious and impeccably clean, but the furnishings also exuded elegance. However, the bathroom felt constricted, with the shower positioned directly above the tub, which limited usability. The hotel complex itself was a visual delight, showcasing stunning architecture and tasteful design. Unfortunately, a significant drawback was the diner service, which starkly contrasted the hotel’s overall ambiance. The staff displayed impoliteness and a lack of professionalism, failing to provide basic courtesy. There were no explanations offered at the time of ordering, and when the main dish—an unremarkable serving of salmon—finally arrived, it left much to be desired. The sauce was excessively thick, and the dish lacked any garnish or artistic presentation. Such deficiencies should have been communicated during the ordering process, and diners should have been given options to enhance their meal.

Can't recommend an airport hotel with no shuttle

The hotel itself is fine, however being an airport hotel (it's even in the name!), I was surprised that it offers no shuttle service. They instead recommend a shuttle service that charges $12 per person to take you a total distance of 1.1 km. As a family of four, that's almost $50. When you factor in that additional cost, it's overpriced for what you receive and just not something I'd recommend.

The Hotel was well kept and a short distance from the international terminal. The restaurant is a bit pricy. They have bar menu, but it ,too ,was on the high side of what you might expect. Taxi to the airport was AU$ 25

For an airport hotel it could have had better sound proofing. We needed earplugs to sleep. Beds were good. Meals at the bar area were great. We gave the restaurant a miss as we were looking for something simple, and it was too haute cuisine and expensive.
