Good size room but awful service.

Good size rooms in a new build hotel. A bit of a rabbit Warren if you’re in the higher numbered rooms on each floor, but the rooms are big for a Sydney hotel. The staff is without exception rude. No pleasantries, no-one smiles, they were literally rude when I asked for my room key to be rescanned as it had stopped working. This isn’t unusual, it happens all the time - I don’t expect to have to wait 5 minutes for it to be done (no one at the desk, when they eventually came out of the office took forever to do it.) A dirty sheet left on the floor in the corner of the room was still there for the entirety of my stay, despite me alerting the front desk, and my room being made up by housekeeping after the first night.
Dirty sheet as a welcome gift - which remained even after housekeeping had ‘cleaned’ my room after the first night.

Good location in north Sydney, new spacious rooms. Dirty/yellow-marked towels. No hotel restaurant, although ad says so. Instead they partner with nearby street cafes (you can purchase and bill to your room). Heating in room not working properly. I’d stay again if price is low.

Booked last minute for a nearby appointment. Check in time took awhile late at night with a tired toddler. Water got lukewarm and wasn't warm enough for showers. Found a dirty sock in the bedroom. Other than that great location and convenient as a last minute booking.

I chose this hotel based on the location, I would expect a higher end hotel to be better quality and service. My biggest gripe was a luke warm shower in the evening and no hot water at all in the morning, also had a light out in the bathroom so couldn’t get ready in there in the morning. I had a look at the gym in the evening, it just didn’t feel super safe being detached from the main building.
