Our favourite hotel of four on our trip to Japan. Modern yet traditional rooms. A little small as expected but very well organized with all facilities available in room or to loan. Spotlessly clean, very friendly staff and a plentiful breakfast to start the day. We felt very welcome here and slept brilliantly to prepare us for our days. The location is excellent - quiet, near to stations and to explore areas on foot such as asakusa - Sensoji area, Sumida across the river and Ueno all within 30-40 min walk. I particularly liked that there were leaflets available in the foyer in English with guides to sight seeing in Tokyo both day and night. Excellent stay
The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. Excellent bathroom and shower. Our window was able to open and provide some fresh air. Also, having a laundry onsite was very handy to get some quick loads done, and baggage hold after check out was nice for our last day.
Great location with only 5 minutes walk to the Asakusa Line that runs direct to and from Haneda Airport. Hotel itself is fine, a bit aged and could probably do with a little upgrade. Comfy beds, staff was very nice.
Very nice modern hotel with the friendliest staff i've ever experienced. The hotel is located in a quiet area just 5 minutes from the Sensō-ji temple. The room was small but set out to allow space for luggage. Overall we loved this hotel and would be our go to when we return to Tokyo
Nice, quiet, and clean hotel that is both very close to the Asukasa subway line for ease of getting around as well as must see places like Senso-ji and Ueno park. Very close by as well to fantastic restaurants; the staff are excellent, providing top class service and are incredibly polite, would definitely recommend this to anyone looking in this area and would also consider staying here again on any future Tokyo trip
Loved the location- close enough to walk to SO much- train station, gardens, great food, cultural landmarks, shops, etc. Room was small (as is typical for the area) but suited us just fine. The bathroom was roomy and I loved the deep soaking tub! Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
Hotel is average. I don't think is that different from others around it. Rooms are quite small so it's not recommended if you're traveling with big bags. It's simply impossible to unpack. Best about it is location, you're close to many landmarks and different Metro lines which is great. A lot of dining options around the area for all budgets too makes it convenient. Reception staff wasn't the nicest you can expect in Japan, but beyond that the hotel itself is good. I believe for what I paid the price was fair and matching the quality. I also liked that hotel itself and rooms don't smell to food as in other hotels in Asia. Only at the Lobby and mostly in the mornings you can feel it.
Staff were very helpful with our luggage. They held it for us before check in so we would not have to drag it around. They also were super helpful with arranging luggage transfer to our next destination.
Location was fine, close to metro and shopping street and the temple. Not a lot more to do around the area though so if staying for more than a few days you will have to go further out. Doable because so close to metro. Stores and restaurants close early (6pm and 9pm). Small room and bed as expected. Mattress was very hard. Uncomfortable sleeping for both of us. Amenities, toilet and wet room with shower all good. Overall good for a quick stay.
