New Modern Convenient Japan Mystays Akasaka Tokyo

Mystays Akasaka Tokyo is a new modern hotel, was a 5 min walk to World Ocean Summit 2025 Tokyo. Convenient location, I walked to Big Camera to buy a Canada to Japan power adaptor, fantastic price $8 and found tons of restaurants and more. I would recommend the hotel and will stay there again. Oh the best was the heated toilet seats and bidet, kettle and mini fridge!

Love the area, there is a 7-11 under it easy for snacks, didn’t eat in the restaurant, but the lobby is pretty to sit at and the rooms. Well, a little bit small are still comfortable. Close to several metro lines, delicious places to eat, such as Thai (Jasmine Thai), Indian (Dipmahal). Also close by was the Harry Potter Mahoudokoro store which was cool and right across from that was a Starbucks which was nice. Would recommend staying here as you won’t spend too much time in your room because you’ll be out and about exploring. Also liked that on the 12th floor they had cheap laundry facilities three yen to wash and ¥100 per 20 minutes to dry.

I loved the area of Akasaka - safe, quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurants within a 15 mins walk. The property itself is clean, but the room is very small - the mattress and pillows are the most uncomfortable I've ever had. The bathroom had a weird smell. The front desk staff were not accommodating and it did negatively impact our trip. But for the most part, this property is good for the price location. But strongly recommend them getting new pillows and mattresses.

Close walk to the subway, bars, and restaurants. Hotel elevator takes you down directly to the 7/11, which is convenient. Rooms are sizeable compared to other hotels in Japan. Would definitely stay here again!

Apart from the snide check in experience, the stay was good. Multiple people standing around at check in desk but you have to use a machine, which they come over and watch you do. Why not just check us in then?

Most staff was helpful upon check in not so helpful. The heating system seemed to shut off in middle of night leaving room cold, there also seemed to be power surges at times. Other than check in the staff was courteous and helpful. The housekeeping staff was as very efficient given how busy. I would consider staying there again.
