I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel X. The staff was warm and kind - perhaps the friendliest staff I have met in my many years of travel. Bravo! The hotel and my room were very modern, clean and comfortable. The views outside my room and from the restaurants were lovely. And the food in Roses was very good. I do have a couple of issues though. For some reason, there was a near constant drumming/banging sound which could be heard in the bathroom of my room 1918 (and to a lesser degree in the bedroom). I wonder if it has to do with the plumbing or heating system and some pipes that have not been properly strapped. The noise did not prevent my sleeping...BUT if I had a headache or a hang-over, that sound would have driven me mad. Another issue is the strange charges which I found on my credit cards the day after returning home. I bought a small bottle of Advil from the vending machines on your main floor. The machine would not accept my first card, but finally accepted the second card. Instead of the outrageous $20 posted in the vending machine, one of my cards was charged $95.15....and the second card had two charges of $95.15. When I contacted RBC fraud, the agent asked if the vending machine was located in some very shady business. The charges were reversed but I feel sorry for anyone who does not check their credit card statements after using the vending machines at Hotel X. I'm sure Hotel X does not want that reputation.

Very nice hotel, amazing view on highest floor, few cocktail bars, restaurants, high level spa. Room is spacious, clean, quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. I asked for a firm mattress prior arrival and I got it! Finally hotel with a normal mattress, made our stay so comfy.

We loved the rooftop bar and pool! Our view of the lake was also exceptional! A couple of takeaways- amazing personal welcome gift, but sliding bathroom door doesn't keep noise down for others still sleeping. Closing door could help decrease sound carrying. Also, a mircowave in the room would be great:) All team members put the customers first, and were very helpful with anything we needed....from the valet retrieving my phone that i left in the car after it was already parked, to the 16th birthday card in the room for my niece, or the delivery of 2 extra blankets late into the night, the service here was exceptional!!

This hotel was central to where I needed to be and it did not let me down. Every staff member that I interacted with was fantastic. From the moment Nadia checked me in to the service from Gabbie on the 28th floor I felt very welcomed and looked after. I had a beautiful view on the 24th floor, the room was beautiful and very clean. The food in any of their restaurants was cooked to perfection and tasted out of this world. If you have not stayed at this hotel you should.
