The location is very good - but the check in wasn't as easy as described, i had to contact the property in advance and had to communicate my email adress first and then i could do the check in. After checking in we left our room to take a walk and later we werent able to get in our room. The cards did not work, we had to wait fo rsomeone to let us in. Then the replacement cards did not work either, we were told that we had them with our cell phones and these do impact the funtionality of the cards. But we were aware and the cards did not touch our cell phones, see the replacement cards did not work either. The locking system is simply outdated - as is the whole building. The staff slammed on the locking device of the door and suddenly it worked. The location is worth the price - but the 'hotel' is not. I asked the staff whether they could reduce our parking fee for this incident, but they said 'no'. I have to write this here, so be aware - 'smooth' is not the appropriate description here!

in a super convenient area only 10 minutes from the beach in one direction and 10 minutes from Stanley Park in the other direction. There were also many dining options close by on Denman Street and you could walk to downtown in around 30 mins. There is a large Safeway supermarket a 10 minute walk away which was useful for buying breakfast items. Despite being conveniently close to everything, the street itself is very quiet and peaceful. The apartment was a bit old-style in terms of furniture, etc but was perfectly clean and also spacious. We had 2 bedrooms, lounge area, kitchen and bathroom.

Old and not updated. Key cards routinely stopped working and limited front desk hours will leave you stuck outside. Get four key cards just in case. Location is great access to English Bay and Stanley Park.

This property is like a guest house because the office is only open until the afternoon and then you have to call them if you have an issue. It’s definitely an older property with old windows and no ac. We were able to use a portable ac in a window for our July stay but it wasn’t perfect. It is in a quiet neighborhood easily walkable to tons of restaurants and Stanley park and Pool and beaches. We had a kitchen in our large unit and were able to walk to Safeway and Whole Foods and get groceries and make our own dinners to save money. Our unit was missing a large pot for pasta but we used a medium pot. We tried to check in early and they didn’t have our room ready. They offered a larger room for us to upgrade too for a fair price. We got it so we could put our luggage in a safe room and start touring. They would have allowed us to leave our luggage in a hallway in front of the office. The employees were polite and helpful. Biking around Stanley Park is the way to go, it’s huge!

We enjoyed our stay and really liked the location. It was safe. We felt comfortable with our adolescent kids walking around the neighbour hood and it’s very close to Stanley Park. The hotel itself is dated but it is clean and comfortable.

This is definitely an older property but with older comes space. We got upgraded to a two bathroom suite for the six of us which came with two bedrooms, a Murphy bed and pull out sofa. Great value for the size of this unit.

Surly manager should understand he’s not doing customers a favor when he checks them in. First impressions are crucial and this was a bad one. Plus building is run down and some of furniture looks like Goodwill rejects. The online pictures might look attractive but they have nothing to with the unit we booked. On the positive side the linens were clean and it’s located in a great neighborhood.

We stayed 2 nights pre cruise in room 104, I say room, I mean apartment. Large sitting room with separate bedroom kitchen and bathroom. Easy check in ( after hours so not staffed) 10 minutes walk to Stanley Park and beach also close to lots of shops restaurants and bars.would definitely spend more nights here

Great value and comfy

Although slightly dated property it had everything we needed, very comfy and super helpful staff ( let us leave luggage there next day). Perfect position for visiting Stanley Park and on a quiet street

This is a converted apartment into hotel suites. The rooms are very clean but, it is an older building. The windows should be replaced but, they offer all the amenities. Iron, ironing board, fans, hairdryer and soaps ect. Full kitchen. The location is a short 3 block walk from Denman street in the heart of the Vancouver West End. Parking is an additional cost and very limited but, we enjoyed our stay and will I am sure return again.

Steps to Stanley Park. Clean and well maintained and staff is kind and hardworking. Bit dated needing some remodel, but location is amazing and full suites hard to beat at this price range. Overall wonderful stay!
