Wow, such a beautiful room. The bed was so comfortable. The pillows were just like mine at home. Room service was quick and the food was so good. I loved the bathroom and it was spotless. Staff was professional and so helpful when contacted. Wonderful stay and we will be back.

The check in/out staff and valet services were superb. It was my first time staying at the Douglas. The room was nice and clean. Was terribly disappointed with the noise level from the lounge and lots of noise in the hallway at 3am, with people yelling and banging on other people’s doors.

The hotel itself is beautiful: thoughtful architecture, warm materials, and those little details that make a stay feel intentional rather than generic. Every space feels curated, calm, and quietly luxurious. What truly sets The Douglas apart, though, is the staff. Every single interaction — from the concierge to the front desk — was warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Nothing felt transactional. Questions were met with enthusiasm, requests were handled effortlessly, and there was a real sense that the team takes pride in creating an exceptional guest experience. It’s the small touches that linger: the attention to detail, the kindness, the sense of ease throughout the stay. You don’t just feel like a guest here — you feel looked after.
