Liked the quietness of the street it was on, no traffic noise, However, this is a very dodgy area with groups of men hanging around. My husband was robbed when he went out to the shop. Would not recommend staying in this area but the hotel was OK.

Lovely room, reasonably priced and decent location

On arrival at the hotel we were given information about local transport links, restaurants and a map, which was extremely useful. The room was lovely and was a good price. Note that the city tax is not included in the room rate so you pay that when you check out (around 2-3 Euro per night). Hotel Aaron is around 15 minutes outside of central Venice (Venezia) by bus. The ticket price is only 3 Euro return pp and the bus stop is just around the corner from the hotel which was very convenient for us. However, if you are in a family and plan to go into Venice every day it could get quite costly. Overall, I would recommend the Hotel Aaron for a couples city break.

Need to know from Treviso airport to hotel.

Pros: The buffet breakfast is excellent value. The lady who was there is great, makes you feel at home. I have to mention her as she is a great asset.
Cons: Smell from bathroom of drains.
Location: Visiting Venice.
When coming out of arrivals go to your right and get a return ticket to/from Mestre (22euro) Hotel Aaron is the first stop; you will be dropped off at the bus station in Mestre. Make sure that you go towards the train station ( to your left). We got directed down dark streets by the coach driver & really thought that we were going to be mugged. (Not his fault, he didn't speak English nor us Italian) You are looking for the Great Western hotel sign. The street to look for is Via Piave. This is directly across the entrance to the train station. Walk straight down Via Piave for about 5 mins & you will see a yellow sign saying. Hotel Aaron. You turn right at this sign & hotel is on your right about 50 metres. Staff are very pleasant. Make sure that you avail of buffet breakfast at 6 euro, unbeatable value, served from 07.00-10.00. We had a family room, very clean & beds made, towels renewed every morning. If going to Venice, which everyone is, go back to bus station & get a return ticket for 3euro. 20 minute journey. Bus number 43 to Venice but bus number 2 back from Venice. We visited Venice twice & got the ACTV water bus ticket late on the first day. This allowed us to experience travelling along canals at night & used to go to Murano (beautiful island) on day 2, followed by travelling along canals in Venice. Ticket is validated( stamped by machine) & valid for 24hrs from time of validation. Thank you to the lady who organises the buffet breakfast, lovely lady,warrants mention

Loved the hotel. Clean, spacious, nice rooms. Breakfast was good. Location very good - 5min walking to Mestre train station. Thanks a lot!
