Out of 6 hotels we stayed at during our 2 weeks holidays, this was by far our favourite! The hosts went above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience! The hotel is small and has a very comfortable and safe feeling and is very clean! There is always someone at the front to greet you and provide anything you need. The location was perfect!

Loved this location. We had to leave a day early because of the transit strike. We would have not been able to get to our flights back to the us. Marko tried to make us pay for both days. Then finally just charged for one night. Very hard beds. But close to the train.

I actually had to miss a night staying at this hotel due to missing my transfer flight. The staff was nice enough to provide me a discount even though I couldn’t fully refund the night I couldn’t stay in. The amenities and hotel room is pretty standard. The only complaint I have is the noise because it’s not very soundproof around the other rooms. I can literally hear other people in other rooms talking on the phone without any privacy. It’s also nearby the bus stop to the airport (like 10-15min walk) so it’s pretty convenient if you have a lot of luggage brought over.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Cute little rooms. I was on the top floor with a balcony and it is tucked in an alleyway yet nice to sit out on in the evening to relax without the busy noise of the street.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel Caprera. I chose it because of proximity to train station ( five minutes walk) and availability of a triple room as well as air con. We arrived early but were allowed to leave our luggage which was very helpful. We were also offered the use of the bathroom if required. All the staff were very kind and helpful. We had a room on the first floor. It is very basic and the triple is two beds, but the large bed is actually two singles attached with one mattress -this is so wide that I didn't mind sharing with the teenager as we were far enough apart! It's a no frills but absolutely functional room. Two sockets. TV which we didn't use. WiFi excellent. Air con also excellent. There is a safe. One extra pillow in cupboard. Found the bed quite comfortable. Surprisingly quiet considering it's a side street just off the main thoroughfare, but don't expect a lie in as hustle and bustle starts early. Bathroom was absolutely fine. Shower more powerful than it looks and sufficient hot water. There is a small fridge in reception where you can purchase cold drinks at a reasonable price which are added to your bill. Check out is at 10 am( I thought it was 9 so that was a pleasant surprise) and they did offer to have our luggage on departure as well, but we were catching a train so didn't need that service. We did not have the breakfast as I was with teenage boys and they wanted McDonald's)15 minutes walk) I thought that it was excellent value.

Hotel Caprera is the perfect hotel for anyone travelling to Venice who needs a simple and modest stay near the train station. Don’t expect this hotel to be anything crazy, because it’s not, but for what you’re paying for, it’s great. The staff were super nice and quite welcoming. Would visit again!

Fantastic hotel run by a lovely family who all chipped into the welcome process and were all very helpful! Cool AC, very accessible but not directly on the main street such that it was loud. Nice beverage options in the lobby, charged to the room. A 24 hour staffed front desk for assistance and questions. Would stay again!!
