Hotel Rialto honest review
The rooms are dated and carpet could use some cleaning. The bathrooms were OK and with good lighting. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was excellent. The location was excellent. Beware if you take a water taxi to the airport. Both the hotel and the driver told me they took credit cards. However, when I got to the airport the driver said he could not becuase his battery was dead on his device. There was a convenient ATM right there. So I ended up paying $209 getting cash from the ATM instead of the 150 euros.
This property is ideally located for exploring Venice. Short walk to St Marks Square. My single room had no view, but there is a panoramic balcony that I could access and which afforded excellent views of the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. The reception and dining staff were brilliant. Breakfast was included and is substantial. My only complaint is that the lift was out of order for my 4 night stay and I had 80 stairs to climb up to my room, which was exhausting towards the end of my stay. I would recommend this Hotel and I would love to stay here again.
Very nice hotel, lovely staff - just extremely noisy. Not because of revellers, because of the shops and traders who are up shouting at 5am. And pigeons! Also, avoid the restaurant. Total tourist trap with multiple errors in their favor on the bill. And the food was barely average.
The breakfast was excellent; lots of variety. Best pizza I have ever eaten. Location next to the bridge was superb. Disappointment was that the elevator did not work in the 5 nights we were guests. Also, sad that I left my hoodie on the rooftop terrace, and it was gone when I returned to get it.
The room was very basic and small. Not enough electrical plugs , many stairs although they have helpful people to carry luggage. Location is in front of popular area

The transportation was not immediately available. You really need to get out with time if you don’t want to rush to your destination. Other than that it was good. I like the property, antique style but clean!! Something different. Love it.
