Location of the hotel was good, but very hard to find: most local people coud not give you correct direction. The hotel doez not have any dissant furniture in you room- no table or any chair. There is no kleanex in the butroom. Also, day before of our departure hotel desided to start providing breakfast. Our check out was at 10 am. At 8 am, my husband brought some of our bags down stair and knoticed a coffee maker. The moment he tryed to have just a cope of coffee, the manager immediately stop him. Stating that the coffee will be served only for new guest. That was plane rude.

When I booked this stay I didn't realize there would be no one at the location. However, I have stayed at many Airbnbs and thought it would be no big deal. I was wrong. There was poor communication. I was sent a code to enter the guesthouse but no code for the room. The code didn't work, so my son and I were left standing outside with all our luggage. We had no ability to make phone calls, but after some scrambling figured how to contact them through Whatsapp. The women was incredibly rude and blamed me for why she didn't send me the code. I had filled out all the necessary information in advance as directed in the emails. Further she demanded 24 euros more for the tourist tax, in additional to all taxes I had already paid and which was not mentioned I would have to pay in the booking. The tax is supposed to be paid prior to arriving in Venice and she was supposed to send me a QR code to enter the island. This did not happen either which led to a long conversation and some grace on the part of the tourist tax offical when I got off the train. As you can imagine this was an awful experience and afterwards my son Googled them and it appears to be a common experience. Further the room was filled with flies and mosquitoes, there was no safe as indicated, and the refrigerator didn't work.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. The room we were given looked nothing like the photos online. It was dark and quite dirty. The shower head had black mould all over it. The bathroom was down 4 sets of stairs which was dangerous when we needed to use to toilet at night. There was also no light in the shower. The WiFi didn’t work and I had no response from the hotel when I complained on the first night. For the price of the hotel, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location is perfect. There’s cafe’s nearby, restaurants, shops and it’s so close to the train station. The stairs you have to take from the train station have a ramp so it’s perfect if you have luggage. Our room/bathroom was a bit on the small size but we didn’t spend too much time in the room since Venice was so amazing 😊 our room also had access to the terrace with the view of the courtyard.

Nao recomendo o hotel, chemos em Veneza as 23h e nao tinha ninguem para nos receber, pedimos ajuda do garcom de 1 estabelecimento local, para que ele nos ajudasse a falar com alguem da propriedade e so atraves dessa ajuda conseguimos entrar no hotel. O horario de saida do hotel era as 10:00h da manhã, nunca tinha visto isso antes. Ao entrarmos no hotel nos deparamos com 1 escama enorme e estreita, escada de 2 lances. Muito complicado e cansativo subir essas escadas com nossas malas. Nao existe ajuda humana para carregar as malas. Nao gostei do atendimento.

During our stay there was a power outage, and there was nobody available to help enter the room or provide any transportation or other services. I repeatedly tried to contact staff but there was no response. We had to rely on our guests to help get into the main entrance or else we would have been locked out in the bad weather. All other guests also mentioned they had no luck in reaching any staff for assistance. This is unacceptable to have no assistance, especially during a blackout or potential any type of natural or other disaster. Guests should be accommodated for the stressful conditions and the hotel should takes steps to ensure this cannot happen in the future.

Great choice in Venice

Close to the train station which means less dragging bags over bridges, but a longer walk to San Marco. Decent food in the area and easy access to the water bus. They were super helpful when we had to stay for two extra night. Room was cold so do bring layers.

In this place I found everything okay, very convenient if you want to walk around, the housekeeper and also the lady in charge she was very nice and helpful, the only thing that I can say is about the noise and the stair. Other then that the stay was really good.
