The ONLY redeeming factor is its central location.
From the start our experience of Marina Buzios has been completely disappointing.
We had arranged a late arrival as reception( which is in another block ) is only open a few hours a day through expedia yourselves as when I rangvthem , nobody could speak english. but when we got there it was all locked up. Luckily our driver was exceptionally helpful and rang around to get hold of someone to come and give us our key but this meant us sitting on steps outside for half an hour at 9pm.
We were shown to the Apartment and told to go back to reception in the morning for pool key. The front door is paper thin and held together with filler. Daylight shines through. furnishings were nothing like photos. Nowhere near 3 star. I have photographs showing all the faults and dangers and inadequacies of the accommodation .
Bare lightbulb dangling by cable over dangerously balanced mirror in the bathroom.
Loose sockets walls.
Furniture that is falling apart.
Inadequate seating . Sofa to seat 3 in apartment catering for 5 + . Is falling apart and covered by grubby sheet.
Balcony can only sit 1 person but you can't even sit there because the aircon unit is blasting hot air directly at you.
Main Road outside is incredibly noisy ...no peace here. Pool not as shown in your advertisement either. Had patches of suspicious yellow scum floating in it.
Cleaners changed sheets on Fri. We had been there since Sun. Didnt sweep or clean the bird droppings on from open chimney which stank.
